The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. “Had a gathering today w approx 30 family and friends, the food from start to finish was beyond SUPERB, they truly deserve Zagat rating. The fried calamari was better than Greece stated by my sister in law who was there in September, antipasto, appetizers, fish, chicken kabob on skewers were tremendous we couldn't get enough we were licking our fingers. I personally would rate them at 10, the owner Jenny is a gem. “I lived in Astoria for 5 years and never tried this place. Just had it and I am blown away by how good it is. It's so hard to differentiate between these shawarma/gyro places, but this one is a gem. I got the chicken kebab falafel platter. The chicken is flavorful, rice is fluffy, white sauce is tasty and not overpowering, and the falafel was outstanding - super light and crispy. I'm so glad I tried and will come back when I'm in Astoria again.“
“Everything about this place is top notch! Came here for bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon in February. I ordered the strapatsada and my friend ordered the burger. We both loved our dishes, I rarely order a dish without meat but it was perfect. I’m also not a fan of home fries, but these were perfect- very crunchy. The service was great and we added the bottomless option. The champagne and sangria was top notch. It’s rare to find bottomless brunch with quality drinks such as these. “Went here for an anniversary and had the best time! Everything was amazing! We had the Chef's Mezze Experience and it was definitely worth it because of the great food and variety of Greek dishes! We went for dinner on a warmer night in March and sat in their covered outdoor area. The ambiance made us feel like we were having dinner on a warm greek summer. They had olive trees and white tables which made it feel nice and bright. It requires at least 2 people to participate and it was definitely more than enough food to make the both of us full! We started with a greek salad, 5 spreads and some beets and olives. The pita was soft and warm and our favorite dip was the whipped feta with red peppers, but this experience allowed m to try things like a salted and cured roe dip which I surprisingly enjoyed. We then had multiple dishes consisting of fries, grilled octopus, different sausages, and hen. The grilled octopus and hen was perfectly cooked and our favorites. The drinks are also really good and I appreciate their large variety of greek wines along with multiple organic choices. The service here is also really amazing. They are helpful through the menu if you are not familiar with all of the dishes. They realized we were celebrating something provided us shots of ouzo on the house. A really nice, unexpected surprise. Absolutely coming back to try their brunch on a sunny day!“

“Today was my birthday and my wife asked me where I wanted to dine out with our two kids. I mentioned a few options, and asked for her thoughts. She mentioned having gong to Yummy Yummy with some of her girl friends recently. I agreed and we headed out there.We arrive about 6:45pm and most Bell Blvd, 48th Ave or adjacent streets surrounding the restaurant are paid metered parking till 7pm Mon thru Sat, and Free Sundays. On the side roads if you walk further you'll notice where the paid metered parking ends there is free public parking. My wife called ahead and made reservations for my birthday for 7pm. In conversation they reserved us half a Hainanese Chicken. That was a good idea because the place was packed at 85% full when we arrived. This evening was cold and a col breeze would rush in when the front door was opened.This restaurant has its own style. It's clean, well lit, ceiling fans in the front half with wood planks hanging vertically evenly space like steps getting lower toward the front of the restaurant. The planks are burnt with texture and they seemed to absorb sound making the restaurant atmosphere less noisy with so many patrons talking - it was comfortable and you could hold a conversation. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak.The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Cantonese you'll enjoy your dining experience because my wife conversed with our waitress asking about dishes before we ordered.We ordered the following dishes and am listing them in the order they were served.Roti Pancake - we ordered two which was served with a small bowl of curry chicken with chucks of potato.Cumin Pork Knuckles - served in a plastic basket they were crispy and mouthwatering savory.Fried Beef Chow Fun - my son immediately mentioned the dish had Wok Hei, the beef and noodle was savory.Steak with Back Truffle and Mushrooms - The beef was tender , with thick slices of mushroom and potato, and the truffle infused sauce was delicious.Hainanese Chicken - there was a slight wait on this dish. The check was tender and moist, it was served on a bed of thin sliced cucumber. A sauce tray with four sauces accompanied the chicken adding to the flavor of this dish.* I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorites were the Chow Fun and Steak.Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but the food did not disappoint so I was only able to ask at the last moment my daughter to snap a quick picture of the Hainenese Chicken which I'm still waiting on her to forward to me for this review.Payment - We were told they didn't take Discover, and listed MasterCard or Visa, and cash is king.I gave Yummy Yummy 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are more and more quality Asian restaurants beyond Manhattan/Chinatown, , Brooklyn/Chinatown, and Flushing/Chinatown. I'd rate it $$, but I'd keep in mind that prices have been rising. *One unofficial litmus test I'd point out is that if an Asian restaurant is patronized by a high number of Asian regularly there is a high chance the food is good.“
“I ordered a very large delivery for an office luncheon. My coworkers are very difficult to please, and they all loved this food. The delivery driver was named Thanasis and he was the best. He called ahead of time and asked if we needed anything to keep the food warm. Then he set up all of the food for us and even gave us some tips on the best way to eat the food. I didn’t see any menus, so you should ask the staff to guide you for a selection or read reviews before you go! I luckily had seen the tagine recommended, so I got the tagine with calamari and shrimp. Definitely a portion for two or more! I went as a solo diner and it was much too filling for just me. I would definitely recommend this as a place to go with a group, so you can order a few different things to share. The tagine came bubbling in a clay pot, and was very intensely flavored! Weirdly, I almost liked the vegetables more than the seafood! The shrimp seemed a little over cooked, but I think that’s the nature of this dish with shrimp. I would love to try again with a fish that could handle more intense heat. The tagine came with this wonderful onion rice that was a great pair. The meal came out to about $60 (with bottled water), which again would be a better situation for two! Next time, I’d love to try a whole fish and the fried calamari! Highly recommend making the trip to Astoria—it was walkable from the N and then walkable to the Museum of the Moving Image.“

I offered to pay the extra service charge for dine in but he didn't want to accept so I left. I would not recommend dine-in. Just order to go and eat it some place else.“
