Pita Hot Reviews
AMAZING! They have the best flavor and you can tell that the chef's love what they do and make
This place is such a gem! Used to live super close but now it’s a little bit of a trek but absolutely worth it. I have tried most of the menu and everything is always great and fresh. During this visit I opted for the combination pita sandwich (shawarma and falafel). I also highly recommend the spinach pie, lentil soup and Jerusalem falafel sandwich (a vegetarian option stuffed with all kinds of delicious goodies). Owner is warm and friendly, always makes us feel so welcome....read full review
The servers were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food had lots of authentic flavors and you could really tell there was attention to detail in everything. The chicken pita was especially great. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Pita Hot is a family-owned spot in Astoria, known for its friendly service, fresh ingredients, and great prices. It offers a variety of flavorful meals, including the chicken schwarma platter, samosas, lamb and okra soup, and lemon chicken soup. The restaurant's pitas, especially the chicken and lamb options, are highly recommended and are a popular choice for a quick, satisfying meal. Customers often praise the generous portions, with some noting that the fillings are packed with meat and bursting with flavor, making the sandwiches very filling but not too much. The atmosphere is casual, with a small seating area and outdoor dining available when it's not busy. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, often engaging in conversation and providing small treats like samosas on the house. Overall, Pita Hot is a beloved neighborhood spot for those craving halal, healthy, and delicious food, whether for dine-in or takeout.
