“I don't ever really write reviews, but after today's visit I wanted to share. I have been going to Cafe Turkey since they first opened, the food is very yummy, fresh, the service is amazing. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. It felt like a family not a just business. Thank you AG for making my night feeling so welcome at my local favorite restaurant in Astoria.“

I have been first time in this such a cute place but I really like the atmosphere since I stepped in.Such a nice and friendly owner and workers are makes you feel like you’re in your home.I also enjoyed the foods. “Ordered catering for a work event and was given great pricing and attention from the restaurant owner Ramazan. The food was a hit with everyone and left everyone stuffed. As a Turk, this was a trip down memory lane as classics were served in an authentic matter. I personally loved all the food and would love to support the business again. P.S. the baklava is perfect.“

“This place is awesome. The staff are super friendly, the prices are reasonable for the pile of food you get, they have a liquor license so beer and wine are beverage options, the variety of sides is great, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite of food is so tasty! I got the salad+rice bowl with steak, babaganoosh, hummus, red cabbage, and cucumber & tomato mix with mint-yoghurt dressing (which you can get on the side like I did in case you don't know what you're getting into). It came with warm pita and I got baklava as dessert. I am so happy this place exists; what a delicious food experience!“
“I had the lahmacun and pide (to go) and both of them were fantastic and very reasonably priced as well. The lahmacun is delicious- The decor and ambience to this place was nice and the food was amazing. I got the lamb chops and my friends ordered mixed platter highly recommend 10/10 Staff was great& attentive! Will visit again for sure & bring pp. here. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!“
“The service was top notch , the server we had was really nice and everyone there’s was so friendly . They even offered us a complimentary side and not a lot of places do that and the food was amazing . “Went with a group of 8. The service was great! Our waiter made suggestions that we took them up on and they were absolutely perfect! as a table we shared the mixed app dips with the pink sultan. This was some of the very best muhammara I've ever had. We also split a few lamhacun which were also super yummy. For our meals, we had various different plates which all were big hits. The service was great and we were warmly welcomed by the staff with prompt service. I can't wait to go back.“
