“I have tried quite a few Mediterranean restaurants, and Blue Fig is definitely one I’d come back to.
We started with the warm, house-made pita and a variety of dips and you could immediately tell everything was made fresh. The hummus trio was one of my favorites—each flavor was different and paired it with the warm za’atar pita.
The grilled halloumi was perfectly cooked with a nice char and the Fig Garden Salad was fresh and light, which balanced out the rest of the meal really well.
For the mains, we ordered the Blue Fig Signature Platter and it was easily enough to share. The chicken, lamb, and beef Adana were all juicy and flavorful, the lamb chops were cooked beautifully. The Turkish manti was another standout. Every dish tasted authentic, well-seasoned and made with quality ingredients.
The fresh mint lemonade was incredibly refreshing and I also loved the Mediterranean Mix. Since the restaurant is BYOB, it’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere and private spaces for parties and celebrations, but for me, the food is what really stood out. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish and that’s what will keep me coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Mediterranean food in New Jersey.“

“Easily my favorite place in Nutley now, I'll be back for more Turkish tea, a whole pot if can be—and to try their Kazandibi dessert. An amazing breakfast selection till noon & lunch menu after till 4PM. Looking forward to many more visits!“

“PIDDE DELICIOUS PLACE IN NEW JERSEY;
I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.
It’s a place you can visit with your family and feel completely at ease. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.🙏“

“I don't eat out often but when I do lezzet is my husband and I go to spot for some delicious turkish food. Its very clean, affordable and every one is very friendly plus they teach me turkish while im there. I very much recommend you go try the best well done food in paterson.“

“The Turkish food here is of high quality. We had the mixed platter of cold appetizers and the mixed meat entree. So yummy! The host and waiters were very welcoming and efficient. When they made a mistake and forgot a side we ordered, they still brought it late and did not charge us. Then they brought us tea and baklava on the house. They want you to leave happy. The sign of a well-run business. We’ll be back for sure.“

“We had a great experience at Toros Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor. Even though the place is small, it feels surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff are modern, polite, and very attentive. Overall, everything about this place is wonderful. “Smyrna was on point. From the food to the intimate seating, the flavors were popping and a few things left me speechless - top of the list was the zucchini fritters which after one bite you can’t stop eating as they were moist, crunchy and bursting with love. The lamb chops were juicy and I could’ve eaten two plates of this - everything from the rice to the night cap of baklava was fabulous. Best baklava I’ve ever tasted so we had to order two plates - so good!!“

“A friend of mine brought me some Baklava from Beyti. What an absolute delight it was. The Baklava's were not too crispy, not too soft, just had the right texture. The sweet level was just perfect. Hopefully one day they will start shipping them out.“
