“Sofra is not much to look at from the outside, but if your mother taught you right, it's what's on the inside that counts (at least that's what she said to make you feel better in high school). Unfortunately it falls well below the attraction scale in order to welcome in some crowds.
Now... where Sofra lacks in ambiance, it gets 5 stars for food. I've been here for both sit down and takeout and it's been consistently great each time. I have only get kebab style platters and the appetizers but they never disappoint. The food portions have always been enough to share and they don't disrespect you with their pita providings, either. Is some of their stuff premade? Maybe. But it's been hard on the restaurant industry and you probably pay top dollar at another restaurant that shall not be named that lies to you about what's on your $45 plate ... so let's relax. I do agree that their prices are a little high but it's likely to offset inflation. The other thing I personally don't like, and please don't tell my Greek grandmother, is their dolmades. But I don't really think I've ever had one I liked.
As for service, well, when I walked in to pick up my order today, there was only one older man running the show and he was sweet, made my order correctly, and thanked me for coming in. We all know how hard it is to find good help around here so kudos to him for opening and getting it done.
I think Sofra is a good option for Mediterranean in the area. You should give it a try and I hope you have a good experience.“

“Customer satisfaction was excellent and the food was delicious. Even though it was very busy during the iftar time, the service was impressively fast and well organized. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and great service, especially during Ramadan.“
“It may be slightly hard to order if your not Turkish, but both the staff and patrons treat you like a honored guest in their country, the food is delicious, and they don’t mind helping you pick something. There isn’t really a menu, but they have things if I am correct on days of the week. I moved out of the area months ago, and I kinda miss my occasional trips here.“
“Park Cafe in New Jersey is an absolute gem that surpasses its name! It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a haven for exquisite Turkish cuisine. Their weekends are adorned with succulent meaty doner kebabs, and the buffet spread of Turkish and Mediterranean delicacies is simply fantastic. The selection of kebabs is unparalleled, and let's not forget the delightful Turkish tea and coffee. This place is a culinary treasure trove, offering flavors that transport you straight to Turkey's vibrant streets. A must-visit spot for anyone craving an authentic taste of Turkey in New Jersey“

“Took a chance and walked in early doors to get a table. Wasn’t long before the restaurant was packed out and we could understand why. Welcoming log fire, beautiful surroundings and tasteful furnishings. Food, drinks and service all scored 10 out of 10. Worth visiting Skipton just for the Efendy experience alone. Could not fault it and looking forward to our next visit. Wonderful!!“
