“This is our third time at Nar Restaurant over the past three years, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The food, atmosphere, and service are consistently excellent.

I would normally mention our favorite dishes, but honestly, everything is so good that if I start listing them, I’d have to add the whole menu! Every dish we’ve tried has been amazing.

Portions are generous... we ordered three mezzos, and split a Chicken shish... with the warm pita bread that arrived it was perfect. Great for a pre-theatre dinner.“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“
