“Tried DHC and honestly it did not disappoint! The chicken is tender, juicy and flavourful. The meal options are not too expensive either! It was so good we came again the next day. Also it is halal certified!

It's also worth trying their slushe drinks! So much better than the 7/11 stores.

Only negative is that there is not enough seating and it can get super busy. It is a 10/10 and would recommend.“

“I didn’t know what I was missing - Uyghur Lagman. It is slightly different than Uzbek, but certainly authentic. The hand-pulled noodles here made all the difference, as did the kind and hospitable young woman at the counter. Wish I lived nearby so I could come here more often!“

Other places drench everything in sauce to mask the taste of low quality meat but not here. The meat is great quality and very flavorful on its own.“

My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“It's going to sound like I know this guy but I don't. I go to Halal guys, but the smell from this truck just got the best of me. All 3 sauces, the rice, the veggies... STELLAR! The line wasn't unreasonable, there were about 5 people ahead and I still got my food within 15 mins. Honestly, this is one of those plates of food you take a cab for.

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

“Chicken over rice bowl is $10 and sooo worth it. It's so good. Prepared quickly and efficiently. I would maybe go light on the red sauce as it is very spicy, or remove it altogether (if sensitive to spice.)

Sometimes the chicken pieces have a weird texture or could be grilled a bit better. But that might be a personal preference thing. Fries are really good.“

It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! You know that’s the best chicken biryani you’ve ever had. And I’m not saying that lightly. It was fluffy, perfectly cooked, generous with the protein, and a melt in your mouth flavour explosion. So good, in fact, that I might scrap other spots on my list and revisit this gem a few more times before the end of my trip. This place deserves more love!“
