“Baingan bartha & Dal tadka are 10/10. The baingan bartha is easily their top dish, super rich, with the right amount of sour + sweet + spice. The dal tadka is so wholesome, a little high on garlic. I would recommend the “desi spice” level as the flavors can be a bit mellow otherwise. The paneer was okay - not the softest and the flavors are pretty typical. 20% tip is mandatory and included.“

“I visit Veeray da Dhaba with not very high expectations because frankly speaking it’s very difficult to find good Indian food outside South Asia. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this place. I had ordered saag paneer which was flavorful and had a freshness to it that is rare to find in curries in Indian restaurants. The lime soda was refreshing too with just the right amount of tanginess and spiciness to it. Serving size was pretty decent. Rotis were hot and crispy. Service was friendly and efficient. I found the ambience warm and unpretentious. And above all, that pretty decent meal with a drink costed me just 20+ bucks — so easy on the pocket too. I look forward to visiting it again on my next visit to the town.“

“This was my first time trying Indian Food Ever, so I was a little nervous and scared! I arrived, and I was greeted by the lovely manager Tina, she geared us to the bar while our table was ready, and recommended some great drinks, it was less than a 5 minute wait! When I say the eggplant and garlic appetizer was out of this world! The flavors were so unique, and just outright delicious. We then ordered the tiger prawns, which was a surprisingly large serving, topped off by the mint and cilantro cream, I was licking my fingers, after, the pot of lamb with basmati rice, felt like we were eating in someones home eatings moms cooking, topped off by delicious milk dessert, I couldn't have picked a better place to dine. The service was great, all my food arrived right after the other, the servers were so helpful describing every dish, and breaking it down for me. Sambar Vada

“I've been craving idlis for so long! We visit Saravana Bhavan and buy idli vada, masala dosa and porotta. Porotta was served with a curry and classic potatoes (which tasted amazing). 3 different types of chutneys and the coconut chutney was the best of them all. The experience overall was a happy one!! Made me miss home!“

“I recently visited Goa and had a fantastic dining experience. From the start, I was impressed by the stylish and modern ambiance of the restaurant. The staff (Andres, Jane) were extremely friendly and attentive, and our server (Christian) was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations tailored to our dietary restrictions. To start off our meal, we had the Chorizo Chili Fry, which was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The Lamb Bao was also a standout dish, with wonderfully marinated lamb and pickled red onion that provided a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The dish that stole the show, however, was the Charcoal Butter Chicken, with a side of the Red Chili, Garlic and Coriander Naan. The Chef's take on this classic dish was truly exquisite -- the best I've ever had in NYC -- and will always keep me coming back for more. Overall, I highly recommend Goa. The food was outstanding, and the whole experience was top-notch. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our meal. I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings.“
