“Been a while since I ate the food there cuz usually I’d always get their chicken rolls back when I was attending Mamun’s Tutorial. Tried their food today with my family and it was pretty good! I got chicken & veggie rolls while the rest of my family got kala bhuna & garlic naan. The front staff there are really nice! I would recommend this place if you want to try good chicken/veggie rolls or garlic naan! :)“

“I went this morning to try anything, it was my first time trying food from India, and I’m really impressed; it was absolutely delicious!!I got the palak paneer and a samosa. The lady at the front was very nice and kind, she patiently explained to me in detail every dish they had.“

“What I usually get here are the samosas. There seems to be two main types, chicken and vegetables (potato and peas). They're $1.50 each (which is a steal!) and are generously sized!!
The chicken samosas are crunchy, and the mix of flavors, ingredients, and spices mesh extremely well. My Bengali friends say the chicken samosas are as good as it gets which may be true, but maybe it's not quite mind blowing enough for me to give anything higher than 8.5/10 - still one of the best samosas I've had to be sure
The vegetable samosas are different in a few ways. To start these samosas aren't as crunchy, and the filling tastes a little more spiceful and flavorful compared to the chicken variation. The texture is definitely more mushy because of the potato filling, but still good. 8/10.
There's a ton of good looking Bengali food at this joint so I'm definitely curious to try more but the samosas here are bomb!“

“I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. Everything we ordered arrived fresh and full of flavor. The steam rising off the hot skillet was a perfect welcome to the meal, and the lemon slice on top was a nice touch.
The rice and naan were both excellent accompaniments to the main dishes. I especially enjoyed the vibrant green peas in the curry and the beautiful texture of the topped appetizers. It is a fantastic spot to grab a great meal on Grand Street.“

Treat yourself to this atmospheric speakeasy space that also has magnificent food.
Sit in the red velvet booths, enjoying fresh Naan and spectacular paneer.
The drinks are lovely and so special.
The flavors and atmosphere will add to your own story.

Go during lunch. At one point, we had private dining.

The staff was welcoming and the service great. The prices were reasonable, but the best part was the delicious food!!“

“It’s usually pretty quiet here when I tend to go for lunch. The service has always been great and attentive. The portions are big I can rarely finish what I order. The best part is the pricing - I typically order a main with rice & naan and a couple glasses of wine and I always feel like I’m getting a deal. Definitely recommend!“

“Had dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed the meal. Saag Panner and chicken Korma were especially terrific. We ordered on appetizer that wasn’t what we expected and the owner and the chef came over and explained the dish and suggested an alternative which they gladly swapped out. Service was terrific. Personal and attentive. Definitely recommended.“

“I had the Giant TIKKA MASALA CHICKEN CHEESESTEAK and it was absolutely delicious! Every bite had a great combination of flavors that blended perfectly together. It had just the right amount of spice—flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. When I tell you it's fire meaning it tastes amazing trust me you won't regret it!
I also want to recognize Ankit for the outstanding customer service. He was very patient while taking my order over the phone, answered all of my questions, and made the entire experience pleasant. He was genuinely kind, caring, and professional. Great food paired with excellent customer service is what keeps customers coming back. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“The best Indian food in the Bellerose/Floral Park area. Food is very delicious and owner and staff are very friendly. “Got the butter chicken, dal makhani, and tandori chicken. The tandori chicken was very good. The butter chicken was also good but the chicken was a bit overcooked and tough. The dal was pretty good but not my favorite. The masala chai was ok a bit watery for me“

“From Texas With LOVE for DHANIA! I am from TX where South Asian food is in competition to be better. 6 ****** Rating, Why? I am an Expert of Bengali/Indian/Pakistani food due to my involvement to provide bi-weekly food to our congregations of up to 500 members. Our food is mainly Bengali/Indian/Pakistani dishes and some outside items like salads/sweets etc. I mostly cook the main dishes MYSELF. During my visit to NY I dined in few restaurants. I never ate in any NY restaurants before. Dera rest: C+; 3 star Lahore rest: B-; 3.5 star Kababish: C-; 2 star Alibaba Kabab near Bufalo: B+; 4 star Few fast-food restaurants. Now the Main subject DHANIA restaurant, A++; 6 Star Restaurant is Very Clean, Nice atmosphere. Food came in reasonable time. If food comes quickly then thats not good for S. Asian food. Cauliflower was fantastic! Samosas were very good! Chatney awesome. Chicken Tikka was great! Biriyani & butter chicken was Excellent! Naan was fine & soft! Not hard or burned as some other places. Since I ordered catering for my congregation from many restaurants in Houston, I became an expert in S. Asian food. Dhania really surpassed my expectations and surprised me in NY. Wish them the best. Keep serving the best food!“

“I live within walking distance from Cardamom restaurant and eat there often. The food is consistently excellent, and the people are always welcoming. Highly recommended! If you're not in the neighborhood, it's easy to get there on the subway (it's right between the 40th St. and 46th St. stations on the 7 subway line on Queens Blvd).“

“This is my favorite Indian Restaurant in all of NYC. It happens to be in my neighborhood but even if it was far away, I would go often. My family is Indian/Pakistani and made of incredible chef-level cooks so it’s hard to eat Indian out and usually disappointing. Not here! Incredible flavors, not overly sweet curries and amazing deals. I get the lunch special/thali weekdays. It’s so much food you can take half home. I get the salmon curry, daal, Palaak paneer or tandoori. Always perfection.“

“This was full stop the kindest service and best spicy butter chicken I've ever had. They also gave us this sauce flight and crispy cracker situation before the meal that was so increadible (not pictured, we devoured, phone could not eat first. Oops). I will dream of this food and it will haunt me until I can return. Super fast service (food in under 15 min) and a clean restroom. Period.“

“I had such a wonderful afternoon grabbing a bite at this spot on Vanderbilt Ave. There is something so relaxing about sitting outside and watching the neighborhood go by.

“TL;DR: Food good. Service good. Portion to price ratio not that good. Get the biryani!
The food was well spiced. Portions were not really shareable. The chicken dishes were especially small amounts. The chicken 65($12)and chicken tikka($18) came with 4 small pieces and 5 small pieces respectively. The laccha paratha was also not even actual laccha paratha. With the bad out the way, let’s hear the good.
The service was very good, they take care of you and your needs. The biryani was tasty and the vindaloo had some nice heat to it. All the food was tasty, I didn’t have a bad dish. I would come here again.“
“I’ve been twice this week to this nice, relaxing restaurant. I had Goa fish the first time and it was moist salmon in a mild curry. This time I went for the butter chicken which was creamy and flavorful. I also tried the lamb kabob appetizer. Both were very good and tasty.“

“Can't complain about getting unlimited rice to accompany entrees! I had the tofu jalfrezi here with spinach paratha and it did not disappoint. It's a small operation so service is a bit on the slow side, but the food more than makes up for that. The gentleman serving customers was also kind and professional. Looking forward to my next visit.“

Chicken steamed momos: demolished (sauce was fought over)
Samosa chat: crispy and flavorful
Garlic Tika: came on a sizzling hot plate. Charred chicken and veggies was in perfect balance
