“I’ve been walking by Pranam for quite some time and finally decided to come in - I can’t express how much I’m wishing I visited earlier! I’m blown away by the quality of the food and attentive service. The Momo were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned and the entrees from varying places in Asia impressed me. Special shout out to the imported beers as well - I got the Nepal Ice beer and am now looking where to source it for myself. Truly a hidden neighborhood staple -

Namaste Tasi Delek Restaurant & Bar has truly become my go to spot for dinner. I come here almost every day, and that alone says everything. The food is consistently excellent, comforting, and made with so much care.

I’ve tried quite a few dishes over time, but hands down my favorite now is the thali. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and textures fluffy basmati rice, beautifully spiced lentils and curries, fresh vegetables, pickles, yogurt, and sides that taste like home-cooked food. Every item on the thali feels intentional and satisfying, and it’s a complete, wholesome meal that never disappoints.

What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. Vijay and Tenzin are absolutely wonderful, always warm, friendly, and welcoming. They genuinely make you feel like a regular, not just a customer. Their kindness, attentiveness, and positive energy are a big reason I keep coming back.

If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food with generous portions and heartfelt hospitality, this place is a gem. Namaste Tasi Delek isn’t just a restaurant for me, it’s part of my daily routine now, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.“

Ordered a samosa chat, two extra potato samosas, chicken kebabs, and chicken tikka masala. Then a Dosa (kind of Indian pancake or burrito) with chicken tásala (they ask you how spicy you want). The chicken has a good flavor, so it s a good option when you are boring to eat traditional fast food. The sauces are ok but the Tamarindo was the best with a sweet and a little spicy flavor. The place is pretty small, you order at the cashier, seat, eat and go. The Agra Palace Restaurant & Party Hall was absolutely AMAZING for us! From communication, care, attentiveness, they went above and beyond for every single one of our wants and needs. “Great food at great prices in Jackson Heights. The momos are great, although I recommend ordering the steamed momos over the fried (the outside can be VERY crunchy and dry). My Nepali friend recommended I try the sel roti here, which she reported to be authentic, and a favorite Nepali dish.

We enjoyed sharing the thali and sukuti roti (comes with a variety of samplings on a silver platter with rice and roti in the middle). While it is ideal to enjoy one of the platters as an individual (that would be a filling meal), we were able to enjoy 2 between 4 people along with other things to share (momos and chow mein).“

Now it's a family-run business apparently, and the owner is the uncle that created India Cafe in Richmond and Floral Park previously. He sold both those establishments and said his only focus is now on Royal India Palace, and you can tell ... the food is great.“
