“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Highly recommended to everyone- vegan or not vegan- 🥗 the talent is there and I wish them success- nice location, sparkling clean - if you are looking for good food - this is your spot-“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.“

“I had the Tonkotsu ramen w/ honey glazed ribs, the Okonomiyaki, and the takoyaki for take out. The pork broth was super flavorful and not salty at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs as they were very tender and slid off the bone! They also had a kick to them that paired well with the creaminess of the soup. Though I think the okonomiyaki was my favorite dish so far! Definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu~“

“My wife and I had a great experience at Masaaki and truly enjoyed almost everything about it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the space was clean and thoughtfully designed, and the overall vibe made it a great place to enjoy a meal.

The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was perfect and clearly made with quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the yaki oysters.

Service once we were seated was excellent. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal.

The only downside was the experience with the front desk host. At the beginning and as we were leaving, there was no smile, no greeting and no “bye.” That lack of warmth really stood out, especially since everything else in the restaurant was handled so well. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional and took away from what was otherwise a near-perfect visit.

Overall, the experience was almost perfect. I would absolutely return and recommend this restaurant, and with a more welcoming presence at the front desk, it would easily deserve a full 5-star rating.“

The lobster bisque was rich and the beef cheeks with risotto was delicious and including their famous baby jesus which I’ve never had before. Best bang for your buck.
