“Had a really nice time at Tavern 157! The wagyu burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the oysters were really fresh. Loved the drinks and the cozy atmosphere too. Big shoutout to Nicky for taking such good care of us! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. Great food, great service, and just a fun place to hang out. Will definitely be back!“

“So lucky to have an amazing vegan place right here in Williston Park. The food is delicious. Haven’t had anything on the menu that wasn’t amazing. “Stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen for breakfast and tried the Pondicherry Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada, and Madras Coffee.
The Pondicherry Dosa was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The Vada was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Rava Masala Dosa was a little oilier because it's made differently, but still tasted good. Both dosas tasted pretty similar once dipped in the chutney and sambar.
The Madras Coffee was really good too. Everything was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Our total was only $30.48.
Overall, a nice spot for a simple South Indian breakfast. I'd definitely come back!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“In my opinion, this is the best Indonesian Restaurant in the U.S. Most Indonesian restaurants in the U.S. taste are unauthentic, which leads to an unauthentic experience. This place definitely had its ingredients set for a memorable experience we will never forget. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.
The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.
If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“
