“An excellent shop for sandwiches and meals to go. They even have half-sized wraps and heros with homemade desserts on for relatively cheap. The Staff is friendly and very good at their job. Because everything is made to order, a line can form sometimes. They do a great job with the holiday meal service as well.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

I had the quinoa with samplings of the vegan ginger, citrus, and the tofu chikn bites….every was a 10/10. The chikn bites were so tasty and full of flavor without the tofu taste. “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you. I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of a red wine. Then I took a veal chop pan-fried with vegetables and patatoes. No a word to say that it was awesome. The service always with a smile and very patient with us. “I've been to a lot of hotpot restaurants in the city. BeiJin Hotpot is a very average hotpot place. It's good, but hotpot is always good. Nothing exceptional for the price. The meat was good, maybe if we ordered different types of meat we would've had a better experience. There's nothing wrong with our dinner; we were just a bit disappointed. All in all, for the price range there are better places to go to.“

“Shows let out late, and finding a place that's still serving quality food after 10 PM is a challenge. This place not only stays open, but the kitchen is clearly still operating at full capacity. We rolled in after curtain call, still buzzing from the performance, and they seated us warmly despite the late hour. The food was just as good as it would be at prime time—fresh, hot, thoughtfully prepared. They even recommended a nightcap that extended the evening beautifully. For theatergoers and night owls, this is your spot. Curtain up, then dinner here.“
