“We order take out from here maybe once a month and we always get a large order when we do. Their food is always fresh, flavorful, and leaving us feeling fulfilled and satisfied! Their rolls have an excellent filling to rice ratio! My youngest son loves their California Rolls and anytime we get them elsewhere, he says he prefers from Sushi You. They are very thoughtful of presentation, preparation, and protection of the food en route. Super friendly on the phone and they always double check the order placed. “I would love to start by saying i came in here for my first time really hungry and after my dinner here i would love to announce that this establishment exceeded every expectation that I had! From walking in and seeing the clean and cozy yet very elegant atmosphere to the outstanding service from the waitstaff . “157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“

“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

“A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you. I took at first a tartare, the beef was excellent. With that I took a glass of a red wine. Then I took a veal chop pan-fried with vegetables and patatoes. No a word to say that it was awesome. The service always with a smile and very patient with us. “Unsuspecting, but amazing little spot for dosas.
I occasionally travel for work to Pune, Maharastra so, I definitely crave good Indian whenever I can find it. My boss knew of this spot (don’t ask me how).
It’s unassuming (in the basement of a temple) and the prices are accordingly quite humble (amazing given the location).
We started with vadas that came with unique, not that spicy green chutney and a pretty spicy sambar.
Then, on to dosas. I’m usually a masala dosa guy, but tried a Rava Dosa for the for the first. I think I may have a new favorite. It’s takes a bit longer, but the semolina base makes a really nice texture.
Everything was spicy and warm - as good as the food I love in India.
Should you find yourself here and you enjoy good Indian food, you should definitely stop in.“

“Another hot pot place to try that has seasonal crawfish that is so fresh, you won’t regret ordering it. Crawfish are giant with fresh garlic flavoring. The soup base is out of this world and is a must try if you are in flushing. We got the tomato and pork bone and I’m telling you, some soup makes your mouth dry because of the high msg content but this one doesn’t. Everything was fresh and the staff were top notch. I know there a lot of hot pot in flushing and there are so many good ones out there but none can say they serve fresh crawfish and 12% off high school ID for students as a promotion. I will be honest, if it wasn’t for the crawfish and the discount, it would be harder to separate as there are many good hotpot spot but for now, this would be my go to spot until the promo is over.“

“I always order on Uber Eats but since I was near by at a park, I figured I go in. Best decision ever!
Service: Amazing 💕💕 it was pretty busy for a week day but the food came out fast and tasted amazing. I think name of the drink I the photo is Tim tub (ruby). Not too sweet but very good.
Atmosphere: cozy. Small place but there is out door seating. I sat inside and the AC was great. Not too cold.
Food: I order a soup. It had crab meat, pork and a dumpling in it. Not spicy but they put hot sauces on your table in case you want to add spice.
Wheel chair accessible and family friendly.
Total was 39.20

“Best chicken sandwhiches and burgers in the neighborhood. Love the sliders with the sauce and the holy burger. Have ordered takeout from here probably twice a month if not more for the last 2 years or so. Service is also great, always quick and kind. Packaged neatly.
The wings are also good and I like the seasoned fries - medium is the perfect portion. My boyfriend loves the double dog and the beef sliders.“
