Highlights: bluefin tuna, seasonal firefly squid, and three rounds of premium Japanese sea urchin (my boyfriend was thrilled). The sushi progression makes sense, and the gold-leaf tuna with edible glitter spray is a fun touch. The chef is Chinese and super friendly – gave us great tips on handling fish. Much better than schlepping into Manhattan. Highly recommend if you’re nearby!“

The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! And amazing food. My family loved what we ordered and the matcha cheesecake for dessert was so good! Compliments to the chef! If you join their club you get a FREE cookie for your bday but only the daily flavors, specialty ones are not included and they should be, after all if it's your bday you should be able to pick what you like. Even though cookies are pricey they can be worth the try because I feel this is not a daily place but a nice treat once in a while.“

“I had to leave a review after my last visit a few days ago because it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at Sobol. A girl named Alexis made my bowl, and it was hands down the best bowl I’ve ever gotten from here. Everything was made perfectly.

On top of that, Alexis had such amazing customer service. She was so friendly, patient, and genuinely sweet, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell she cares about what she’s doing and about the customers.
