“Great sandwiches. Good staff. Great hot food. But the prices are unaffordable and at this point as much as I love the food, I won't return ever. Ordered 2 heros. Philly cheese steak and a chicken cutlet hero fresh mutz. 1 order of lasagna about 5 inch square and a tiny rice pudding.
Total price 55 dollars.
Sigh. Smh.
Great store. Great food.
But like I said , absolutely unaffordable
Good things never last.

“It’s a very charming place with great options for vegan and non vegans alike. My father and son had the vegan pasta with meatballs while I had the vegan tacos, my father and son are not vegan. We also opted for some natural smoothies. Needless to say, the food and atmosphere were great, the prices are reasonable and the workers are very nice. Very satisfied ??.“

“I can’t rave enough about my experience at Ras. I had great service and probably the best meal during my visit to NYC. I came for lunch on a weekday and the whole menu, including brunch, was available. Since they are 100% vegan, it also meant that I could order anything and everything. Can there be too many choices? Everything looked great, but my waiter convinced me to get the chef’s special kitfo. There was also a nice selection of NA mixed drinks, and I ordered the Crown Heights queen—watermelon, ginger beer, mint and lime. I loved every sip and every bite of my meal. The chef’s special was packed with flavor and different textures. Each bite felt unique from the last. Kitfo is typically a ground beef, and their version is made from soy. That alone had such incredible flavor like it had been nicely browned to build out the complexity of the dish. The drink was equally good. I could have started on a second meal immediately after finishing my lunch. Not because I was hungry, simply because the food blew my mind. Updated from previous review on 2026-04-17“

“Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. Highly recommended to everyone- vegan or not vegan- 🥗 the talent is there and I wish them success- nice location, sparkling clean - if you are looking for good food - this is your spot-“

“My first time having the impossible burger here today and it was the best decision I made . The tots had magnificent sauce that came with it and i recommend having the wuu sauce . “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

The leeks is incredible and a must
The crab avocado yummm
The egg anchovies salad is a must as well

“I make a habit to go to Seitan’s Helper every time I’m in New York for work. I get 4 sandwiches , to also have with me for traveling back on the train.
As a vegetarian , getting a good sandwich is hard … but these 2 take sandwiches to a new level and make them above and beyond.

On top of the amazing food , the 2 owners are lovely people, and are always jamming out to some 2000s pop-punk

I always order sesame flavoured versions of desserts, I really enjoy them. I used to live by a Japanese Supermarket and a Korean Supermarket with stalls inside for bakeries. The flavour was a nice toasted nuttiness. I really loved the texture, reminding me of between a soft sugar cookie and a shortbread cookie!
AGAIN this cookie blew me away texture wise! The flavour works well for a cookie, I can’t wait to have another.“

“My husband and I had their mushroom chick’n and Mac and cheese and chopped mushroom and cheese. All we could say was WOW! It was incredible for vegans and non-vegan alike. This chef is a mushroom magician creating comfort foods from mushroom and chickpeas. The best part about his food. It’s CLEAN whole food vegan eating. No soy, No seitan which my body does not do good with. So our hats go off to the chef and we highly recommend!“
