“Walking inside, I found the restaurant to be clean and calming. I’ve tried multiple dishes here and have enjoyed every single one of them. I thoroughly enjoy the Tom yum soup and and the Pad see ew here. The waiters are super nice and accommodating. I plan to be a frequent customer.“

“I’ve been to Nepali Bhancha Ghar before, and this definitely won’t be my last visit. One thing I really loved this time was the buff momo. I hadn’t had good buff momo in such a long time, and these really hit the spot. It was honestly one of the highlights of my meal.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the duck sekuwa. I started regretting my order almost as soon as it arrived, and after trying it, I was even more disappointed. It was very dry, and I found several bones and some parts that were quite burnt. It seemed like it may have been cooked directly over a high flame rather than slowly over hot charcoal, which I think made a big difference. Sekuwa, to me, should be juicy, smoky, and well seasoned, but this was unfortunately quite dry and lacking in flavor.

What made it more disappointing was the price. I had spent about an hour and a half of my wages on this dish, so it honestly felt pretty bad to spend that much on something I didn't enjoy. I still tipped the servers because I know the preparation of the food isn't their responsibility.

Interestingly, after coming home and reading some of the other reviews, I noticed similar comments about the chicken sekuwa. One review described it as “really dry and barely having any flavor,” which was almost exactly my experience with the duck sekuwa as well.

I’m sharing this more as a suggestion than a complaint. I really like this place and would still come back for the momo and other Nepali dishes, but I genuinely think the sekuwa needs some attention. Either the preparation method could be changed significantly, or perhaps this particular dish should be reconsidered for the menu. With the right smoky, juicy, well-seasoned preparation, I think the sekuwa could be something really special.

Overall, I appreciate the restaurant and the food, and I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it's intended — as a suggestion from someone who wants to enjoy and support the place again.“

I was hoping to see more whipped cream on my crepe but they were kinda cheap on that. But overall, you get what you pay for. 10$ but the crepe not full as i expect so i feel like its a bit high price. I dont think i will visit here too frequent.“

The go-to sauces here are the red sauce and white sauce. The halal momo are complimented with a thicker, chewier dough than other momos - it takes me three bites to finish each one. Amdo Momo is a favorite for those looking for an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine. Don't forget to ask for the side of radish!“

“I visited the Potala Fresh Food truck. These are my favorite momo in the city! The momo are so fresh and juicy you have to lean over the container or plate when you eat them, it’s that juicy! I typically get the beef but they have chicken and other varieties as well. I love that you can also order them frozen if you need a large amount for a home event.“

“Decided to stop here after I got off the subway. It was still open (until 3:30am) and I ordered the chiles rellenos. The hostess was very sweet and my food was ready in 15 minutes. It came with rice, beans, and tortillas! Huge portion. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned—one of the best chile rellenos I’ve had. Will be coming back to try more things! “I feel like some of the negative reviews come from people who don't like that the store has changed. I've been coming here for most of my life, and I wanted to give credit where it's due.
Damian, who helped me today after work, was incredibly kind and genuinely cares about his customers. One of my ginger ale cans tasted off, and he was nice enough to let me exchange it for another drink without any issues.
The pizza was amazing. Of course, every pizza place has its occasional off day, but that's normal. I currently work at a pizza shop in SoHo where slices cost much more than the typical $4 slice here in Queens, so I know good pizza when I taste it.
Honestly, the comparison between this shop and the places across the street is night and day. While many people are spending money on less fresh food nearby, you can get real, fresh pizza here.
