Nepali Bhanchha Ghar Reviews
The momo and service were excellent!
I’ve been to Nepali Bhancha Ghar before, and this definitely won’t be my last visit. One thing I really loved this time was the buff momo. I hadn’t had good buff momo in such a long time, and these really hit the spot. It was honestly one of the highlights of my meal.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the duck sekuwa. I started regretting my order almost as soon as it arrived, and after trying it, I was even more disappointed. It was very...read full review

Don’t try anything else, they specialize in momo and that is what they do best. Other food is average. Momo is worth everything:

Nepali Bhanchha Ghar offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious jhol momo, unlimited masala tea, and authentic Nepali cuisine. The restaurant's goat momo, chicken jhol momo, steamed paneer, and chili curry chicken are praised for their amazing and juicy flavors. Conveniently located near the Roosevelt Avenue/Jackson Heights station, this small and crowded eatery provides a taste of Nepal's culinary traditions with its beautiful and flavorful dishes.
The restaurant is known for its jhol momo, which comes in either beef or chicken filling. Jhol momo consists of dumplings immersed in a spicy and aromatic sesame and tomato broth. They are juicy, flavorful, and warm, with a platter of 8 momo costing $9. The momo's skin is on the thinner side, and there is a lot of filling. The restaurant is also famous for winning the annual Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights 5 times, celebrating the Tibetan and Nepalese dumpling.
While the pricing at Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is low and convenient, the overall food quality can be just okay, lacking the bold flavors and authenticity that some customers expect from true Nepali cuisine. However, the restaurant's veg thupa, which is warm and delicious for a cold winter night, is a recommended dish.
