“This restaurant is fantastic. I can't believe anyone would rate this place anything less than five stars. I have traveled all over the world and have yet to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant I have enjoyed more than this place. My wife and I chose to sit at the counter top, overlooking the kitchen. It was enjoyable watching the chefs meticulously prepare each dish. Every course brought to us was thoroughly explained by staff. Every course tasted better than the previous course. The interior also had low lighting, which set off a romantic vibe. I highly recommend bringing your spouse to this place.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu - Vegan upon requestDietary restrictions: Vegetarian menu - Vegan on request“
“We absolutely loved our experience at Ras! The food was bursting with flavor - every dish we had was so wonderful - we couldn’t pick a favorite! The service was fantastic - extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun, but not chaotic - there is a live dj, but it didn’t feel like the music overwhelmed the atmosphere or the ability to hold a conversation at your table. I can’t wait to return to Ras! It’s become a favorite of mine, for sure!“
“One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to in Manhattan! The spicy lemongrass ramen is one of my favorites but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Such a fun vibe and amazing decor. One of my regular spots to visit when dining out you won’t be disappointed.“
“It is easy to see why this place is on the Michelin radar! The service was well above average (new dinnerware between courses, dish descriptions upon delivery, very attentive). The food was incredible. Our server recommended four courses for two of us and that was perfect—we ended up pleasantly full but not stuffed. We tried two toasts (artichoke pictured left, roasted beet right); the tamal, which had the tenderest jackfruit I’ve ever tasted; and the risotto with seasonal mushrooms, which had us oohing and ahhing at every bite. We had the first reservation of the evening at 5 pm and enjoyed a lovely quiet meal. The seating is tight and it was filling up by the time we finished, so if you’re prone to sensory overload an early time might be the move!Vegetarian options: Menu is fully plant-based/vegan“
“Went early with a big group (of 10) and had a phenomenal experience! While the decor isn't anything to write home about, the food is spectacular and the service top notch. We sat in the outdoor dining (sidewalk) and that was just fine. Highly recommend this restaurant, they're doing a lot of things right, especially with the food.Parking: Very hard to get parking, probably best to get an uber here. You can take your chances and try for street parking but no guarantees you'll find it in time for your reservation.“
“Good upscale style vegan Asian fusion restaurant, although portions could be bigger. If you want a big satisfying meal I wouldn’t recommend coming here.I do highly recommend the Japanese sweet potato and sushi (can’t remember which roll). I wouldn’t normally order vegan sushi but this was surprisingly delicious even though there was no fish, so definitely worth it! We also had the Singapore noodles but that was just alright, very light and not much vegetables.“
“There were definitely a few standouts at abcV - love conquers all sparkling elixir, the california dates, avocado lettuce cups, and the cappucino for me, and the dosa for my husband - I'd go back for those items alone. We weren't sure how full we would be from the cauliflower so opted not to order it, even though it's their most popular dish. Will have to try it another time. We loved the elixir - it was like having a nice buzz, without having any alcohol. The dates were perfect bites of flavor explosion. The avocado cups brought me back to my childhood - I have no idea how the chef managed to recreate the flavors of an Indian dish called pani puri with these lettuce cups, but they did and man I could have ordered that dish two more times! It really made me miss my mom. My husband liked the dosa, but I think I am too much of a purist when it comes to dosa and prefer the traditional version. We ordered a mushroom dish (I cannot recall the name), but we should have probably researched the type of mushroom because it had an incredibly fishy smell and taste and I couldn't stand it. If you like that flavor, you'll like it, but it wasn't for us. We ordered the coconut sticky rice to go with this dish, but they forgot to bring the two items out together, so our rice was cold by the time the entree arrived and it didn't appeal to us as much. The waited offered to refire it, which was kind, but it would have been a waste of food and time and we didn't care for the taste of the mushrooms anyway.I am pretty sure we got dessert, but it wasn't memorable, however that cappuccino was! I will definitely be stopping in for another very soon. The service was fantastic from the moment we entered the door to being seated until we left. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and I loved how honest he was about the dishes after we told him our preferences. The vibe at abcV was much larger than I was anticipating, it felt like being in a big, fancy dining hall, but once you're at your table you didn't feel it as much.Definitely looking forward to going back to try a couple of the other dishes and getting that cappucino again :)“
“I have had an amazing experience with them. I ordered food for an iftar event happening at The Towers and they went above and beyond my expectations. They delivered on time, gave so much delicious food and were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The event had no food left because everyone came back for 3rds and 4ths. Thank you so much for your hardwork!!“
“A beautiful restaurant! There are so many options and delicious plates to choose from. We've had the Lumache alla Vodka, rosemary pizza, and Campanelle al Tartufo. The Lumache alla Vodka was the best I tried. A delicious but very pricey meal. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-09“
“My husband and I have been wanting to try HAAM since they first opened - due to having Celiac, we had called asking if they have a gluten free fryer. They were still sorting out some of their kitchen logistics, but we finally got to try them and it was well worth the wait.First off, the chef personally came out and asked about our allergies because she remembered our phone calls - she made us feel extremely welcome. I ended up getting a "custom" sandwich using patacones as the bread - absolutely delicious! My husband got the mofongo which he said was better than mofongo he had in Puerto Rico! We also got the onigiri and the ceviche - both great. We will definitely be returning and are so excited to have a new vegan restaurant in the neighborhood.“
“Harsh was educational and kind about the different dishes we were served from beginning to end. This was my first time at Vatan. At the end, as a dairy free consumer, a dessert was given to me that was dairy free dessert, that’s call soan papi and I appreciated that soo much!“
“We love this place so much. Not pictured is the Mac'n, oh my blanking blank. Everything was amazing. Go go go vegan!Vegan done right!⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐Vegetarian options: The menu is all vegan.HeavenDietary restrictions: That was the first thing the server asked us, if we had any dietary restrictions or dislikes. Amazing.“
“Had a wonderful Sat. evening at Pusu, where the staff was super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely. My table enjoyed the Lavender Amethyst and Snow Fall cocktails, cucumber salad (heads up, it's spicy!), salt and pepper fried mushrooms, hot and sour soup, and the standout black truffle fried rice, among other delicacies. Our server was sweet and accommodating. I'll be back!“
“Everything about B&H is five star. It’s possibly the most crammed restaurant in the city. It’s a quintessential dining experience, like going to Katz deli.I ordered the whitefish salad on challah with a cup of matzoh ball soup. Delicious. They took my order by calling out from the counter while I was sitting at a table. Then, when the food was ready, they handed it to folks eating at the counter who had to turn around and serve me.Everything about this place is old school New York and I love it“
“The Healthy in Dyckman Juice Bar is one of my new favorites! The variety of food options available is mind boggling and I mean that in a good way. As someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I love it here. My favorite thing I’ve tried so far is the Salmon rice bowl. It’s so healthy, delicious, filling, and well priced! The avocado toast with the eggs was hitting too! You must give this gem a try. Thanks Juan for your great service today.Dietary restrictions: If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or don’t eat dairy this place you’ll feel right at home. Healthy vibes apply.“
“Really nice place to hang after work. Love the atmosphere and the bathroom tip box and the feet only sink. Also love the blueberry crepe thing - I've never had such a dessert in my life. Got whatever wine the server recommended and it worked out well. The music was really good - chill but fun.“
“Sorry I didn’t take pictures but take my word for it … Delish!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had the noodle dish & was hesitant bc of the impossible meat but I wasn’t disappointed. I also enjoyed my brussel sprouts.Vegetarian options: Entire menu is vegan.Kid-friendliness: During the daytime it is kid friendly. Kids are seen playing with each other. Lots of seating.“
“Solid vegetarian menu. Very generous portions for a tasting menu. Some things like the lettuce wrap salad with pineapple were fantastic, but others like the fried tofu & sweet potato noodles didn't do it for me. Would go back for the a la carte. Very inventive though, four stars for service, atmosphere, and creativity.“
“All I have to say is NOM NOM ? Tried this place for the first time yesterday and loved it! We had the waffles, home fries, lasagna, tofuego sandwich, and buffalo wings. I will also say, I’m FROM Buffalo… so believe me when I say the buffalo wings were delish! I don’t say that lightly. The sauce was real buffalo sauce— reminded me of when I was a kid eating La Nova pizza and wings, and watching the Bills games with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu ?“
“Absolutely love Mamacitas! It’s my fave place to bring out of town friends. Food is amazing and their margaritas are the best! 25 different flavors to choose from and I’ve tried almost all of them. Music is always on point and the owner is a sweetheart!“
“Came across this place on Uber Eats so we decided to take advantage of the buy one get one free deal for the roti rolls. I like that you can customize your roll to however you like so the options are endless! Pleasantly surprised at how fast the service is and how amazing the food is! The ingredients taste fresh and the portions are the perfect size. It's our second time ordering from here and we were not disappointed! Safe to say this will be a regular spot for us and I look forward to trying the other items on the menu.“
“I love the concept and advocating for plant-based food. I like the self ordering system and the seating arrangement. Sadly, the buger that I ordered was missing the green leaf lettuce and had a tiny touch of mayo and just a tiny piece of pickle. My guess is that the kitchen ran out of ingredients. I did not bother asking for an explanation. I felt that the staff was also exhausted and not in a good mood. Hopefully, it will be a better experience next time.“
“I absolutely LOVE Divya’s! I live so close and always have a good time while I’m there. The food is amazing and to have access to an Ayurvedic restaurant in my neighborhood is an amazing experience. I always feel actually GOOD after eating here and spending time in their relaxing environment is like a NYC reset.Thank you Divya’s“
“Curry and Handi has delicious, truly fresh, and flavorful food. I think it is the best Indian food I have had since visiting India 2 years ago. As a vegetarian I appreciate the offerings and highly recommend the broccoli tandori. The service is excellent as well.“
“Great price and portion size. Very fast service; its like sit in fast food. Food is good. Definitely recommend the mixed veggie fried rice and soup dumplings. Also tried chicken corn soup which was also good. There was a bit of hiccup with one of our dishes because of the fast paced process but it was resolved after discussion. Would recommend and I would go back to try the dumplings and soup again.“
“I'm quite late in writing this review, but we tried Beyond Sushi back in 2019 when our friend introduced us to it. He was visiting NYC and is vegan and said this was one of the places he HAD to go to while here.We are so glad he did, because we have been back quite a few times since and now our daughter is a big fan too! She was one of the most particular eaters when it came to food, but this was one place she surprisingly liked. The Nutty Buddy Wrap and Mighty Mushroom Roll are definitely our favorite. The dumplings can be hit or miss depending on the day, but when they are good, they are very good! They have expanded their menu quite a bit since the last time I was there, so I am really looking forward to going back and trying some of the new items. We have been to a few of the locations, but the flagship location on 37th has always been the most consistent in regards to service and is also the most spacious with enough seating and is a more central location to get to in general.“
“We were in town for a day en-route to the Caribbean on the QM2 and discovered this place, and are so pleased we did.Fantastic, friendly and welcoming staff - great atmosphere and quirky. Was a highlight of our holiday to stop by, but most importantly the food. The burgers were to die for, honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! We will definitely make another visit when next in NY, even if we’re not on a cruise. Fantastic choice of beers too.Big well done to all team from some very happy customers from the UK.“
“We came here because of reviews online, really wanted to try authenic Italian food in NYC, and it definitly lived up to our expectations. The food was very fresh and flavourable. I wish I could eat more !! The cocktails were gorgeous, I'd highly recommeded the passionfruit martini or the elderflower mojito. The waiter was so kind and friendly, he made me laugh. See yous soon hopefuly !From Ireland x“
“Food is great! Tom kha could use more vegetables. There weren't mushrooms or tomatoes in mine. Only onions. But it tasted good. Veggie rolls were fine. A bit overdone, but for the price were okay. Overall liked the food. Had it via delivery, so it might be 5 stars in person.“
“Best Vegan Thai restaurant in NYC! I recommend noodle soup with coconut milk, and the drunken noodles are my absolute favorite! They have cooking classes available here as well which I love with May! May is an absolute delight, like sunshine in human form!Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant!“
“Footprints is one of my favorite spots. I had a ninth server name Tremaine. He's a great, excellent worker fast into please. To make sure you're happy with what you're getting is very friendly and a nice guy. Wonderful service.“
“Oh boy…where do I begin. My partner and I are just passing through town in need of a bite and this place delivered everything and more. He eats meat+cheese+etc. I’ve eaten vegan since 2019 and have been let down a LOT. Not so with this place! Both of us received heaping portions sampling a bunch of their offerings. I ate seitan, chana masala, collard greens, some veggies, and what seemed to maybe be a creamed kale? He got okra, rice, greens, and a serving of their real/non-vegan Fish. He commented that this is the best breakfast he’s had in a while and I couldn’t agree more.In and out the door in under 10 minutes, each with the aforementioned dishes plus a drink each, all $35. Are you kidding? I’d WALK here from my home in Chicago to eat it again. 35 dollars that’s crazy cheap for how good it was. There’s a place in New Orleans that is also vegan that serves a similar style that has been my white whale for years. I can’t remember the name. But luckily I have Ital Fusion in my phone forever now - even BETTER!“
“Stopped in here for brunch one Saturday morning, very friendly service, a superb Impossible Philly cheese steak (which took me back to Reading Terminal Market), strikes the plant based balance really well so great menu for everyone, good portion sizes.“
“Casual spot for excellent mac & cheese. Love the option to get it refrigerated/to-go so that you can just bake it at home. Tried the Masala mac & cheese for the first time last I was there and it was so flavorful, still perfectly cheesy, and a new favorite. The Napoletana is also great. Each one I've tried has been delicious. There are three portion sizes, plus if you dine in there's an option to try eight flavors in a segmented dish.Vegetarian options: Highly customizable, many on the menu are already vegetarian and there's also a "build-your-own" option.Kid-friendliness: Mac & cheese is always a good option for kids, plus each item is highly customizable.“
“Full moon rising! Totally delicious mapo tofu and den den mein. I really enjoyed the peanutty vibes of the den den mein and the mouth numbing qualities of the soft mapo tofu. Hot but definitely not too challenging. Upon polishing off the dishes my insides felt like I’d been sat in a spice sauna, perfect for a rainy grey day in the East Village. The restaurant itself is a cosy bijou nook bathed in pink ambient light and adorned with gashapon style nik naks.Hip without pretension, hot without perspiration. Recommended.“
“This place is very beautiful and the food leaves you wishing you never get full just so you can eat more. We ordered the Spicy Chili Sin Carne and it couldn’t have been better. The bowl is flavorful and the sour cream is addicting. One star off for service because one of the girls was rude and dismissive. I was asking where I can leave the dirty utensils and she cut me off before I finished.“
“Opted for the double-cooked pork this time, and it offered a stunning impersonation of the original, with an assertive medium-spice sauce. Tofubox isn't content to get by with Nice Try Vegan Chicken Nuggets.Exploring vegetarian spots for curiosity rather than necessity, I've often encountered situations where, say, a jackfruit sandwich is just fine, but I'm still full after spending $20. Tofubox, however, offers a surprisingly good value proposition. If you're reading this review you're not a regular yet and thus should start out with a box set, preferably Box Set B.“
“Absolutely delicious Oaxacan food. I've always wanted to visit Oaxaca and this place definitely gave us a taste of what it will be like. The restaurant is small with a few tables but it wasn't crowded when we went for lunch on a holiday Monday. My boyfriend and I shared the mole poblano, mole oaxaqueño, and molcajete. The mole dishes came with rice, beans, and warm tortilla and I also got a small horchata. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor with every bite. Nothing was too spicy but if you like sweeter things, I would highly recommend the mole poblano.“
“I live in the neighborhood and consider it a treat each time I have an opportunity to have a meal here. The food is prepared with love and that is reflected both in the presentation and the taste. I often have a bowl of one of their soups along with a special, home fries, and a cup of coffee or two ( three :)) Everyone on the staff is helpful.“
“I have never tasted vegan cuisine this delicious. The restaurant offers dishes from Singapore, Japanese cuisine, Jamaican home made beef patties and Chinese cuisine. The baked goods are heavenly. The restaurant is named correctly. There are to many words in the English language to describe how delicious the food is at Veggie Heaven. The price was good for the 3 of us dinning. Everything is completely vegan. For all of you meat eaters this place will delight your palette. I will make it a habit to treat myself at least once or twice a month to dine here. Thank you for the service, food and atmosphere Veggie Heaven staff. I forgot to mention that we had driven over 4 hours to eat at your restaurant. The long drive was definitely worth it. I can't thank you enough for serving my family and I terrific food.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to Cilantro and the restaurant provided safe meals for me.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the ground floor.“
“I truly cannot believe this place has so few reviews- in an absolute sense, and not just because it's vegan, this is one of my favorite restaurants I tried recently in Brooklyn. This place is a small vegan deli in Bed-Stuy, not much space inside but has quick service. The menu has vegan takes in NYC classics like the bacon egg and cheese or chopped cheese. We ordered the Reuben loaded fries and chopped cheese sandwich. Both came out fresh and were high quality and value. The chopped cheese was amazing and savory, which is impressive considering it is vegetarian. The Reuben fries were also great and came with a healthy amount of sauerkraut. Overall this place is a must try and a true hidden gem!“
“I ate the Tropicana salad and the soup of the day, Turkish chili, to-go.Türkiye chili soup has a lot of ingredients, so a small size is enough. Before closing the lid, I asked if I wanted to sprinkle some cheese on it, so I added it and it was salty and delicious.Tropicana salad, as the name suggests, contains mango and orange. The sauce is made with grated fruit like Isaac Toast, but it doesn't get too salty even if you add a lot, so just leave it as the young clerk puts it on.It's easy to add a lot of shrimp and peel the abogado before closing the lid and mix it well. They ask if I want to add pita bread, but there is no additional charge, so you can do whatever you like. The prices in Seoul were so crazy that I was thankful that they gave me this much for 25,000 won.Recommended“
“As a Korean born and raised in Korea and someone who recently moved to NJ, I have been looking for a great mandoo (dumpling) place in NJ and Mannane is like an oasis to me! Their dumplings are top notch in terms of flavor and fresh/cleanliness, and the owners are super kind and amazing. Cheers to Mannane for making my dumpling dream come true!“
“Appreciated the calmness of the location. The freshness of the food and the simplicity of ordering without blaring music while dining. It got busy starting at noon. So get there at 11am to avoid crowds and noise. Really liked the masala dosa. Flavors were light and tasty.Vegetarian options: All sorts of Indian food from subcontinentDietary restrictions: Accommodating vegan and vegetarian. No meat served.Kid-friendliness: A young man with a disability and his you her brother were here. I loved the idea that they too could participate in a family meal without prejudice and judgment. Made my heart happy. Also a dog with his elderly owner. Another show of acceptance and do no harm attitude.“
“Our waitress Nay was really nice, and very patient. She helped us with making great meals choices, while describing every meal . She took our orders without writing it down. She remembered everything. The food came out fast and all at once. Which is amazing for a party of 14. Drink was delicious. “
“Really delicious burgers, friendly staff, and quick service. Try the green bean fries, the Plnt Burger and Cheeseburger, and the patty melt--deliicious! But everything is good here. So easy to order using the PLNT Burger app. Highly recommended!!!Vegetarian options: All Vegan!!!“
“The food is awesome, howeverSometimes I feel like they're afraid of black ppl.,and can be stingy with the sauce the sweet chili to be exact, also I ordered something from the lunch special around 3:45 PM right before it ends, and I got there little after four and they told me my order was never placed,so before you order, make sure you pay“
“Spent the day in NYC and my friend who is vegan suggested this place. We ordered at the window and sat outside to enjoy the plant based food. The burger was really tasty. I would order again for sure. The winner was the shake, it tasted much better than an overly sugared shake. It had a good sweetness but was not too rich at all and tasted so fresh.I’ll be back for sure.Thank you!“
“Well well, this was on my bucket list. It is located conspicuously at the Washington Park. If you take a walk around you will spot their truck. The wait time was average 2 hours. Dosa tastes aa dosa but the experience is worth standing in the line.It is closed on Sundays and other days open between 11am to 3pm.“
“Jagdish and Vishala, owners of the restaurant (excuse the spelling) are very friendly. The service was fast and great, food was amazing as always (we got Gobi Manchurian Dosa and Spinach Masala Dosa this time). Only feedback would be the spice level could be more in the potato filling of the dosa. Chai at the restaurant or on the go is perfect too. I recommend anyone in the mood for yummy vegetarian Indian food to visit.“
