I've gotten into the routine of coming to the food truck from NJ on weekends (that's how much I love these delicious nuggets of goodness) and ask for half pani puri and half fuska. The staff is always so accommodating and I would happily pay the $7 for this mouth watering treat. The only thing I am missing is a location closer to me so I could have this deliciousness all the time.
While exploring Jackson Heights, my friend and I decided that we must check out Fuska House to see what the hype was all about. It was freezing outside and yet, people were lined up for these treats. My friend ordered Pani Puri, while I got Fuska. We sat on a stool in front of the food truck, and the kind staff member brought our food over in less than 10 minutes. Neat little place for Indian street snacks. It's definitely an acquired taste and may not be something for everyone's palate. Either way, it's worth a try. I had the guava masala salad. It was quite good. I didn't like the aftertaste of the bitter sauce. I would have made it different.
