“Travel to go see my sons men conference championship game! Had the food delivered directly to the field to my car actually came a few minutes early, love the Local spot. Food was beyond delicious. “BY FAR THE BEST BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! They shouted my name on the mic 100 times! The staff checked on me SO OFTEN, and treated me like a princess! They let me and my friends turn up and act a fool. A TIME WAS HAD! I will be having all of my gatherings here from now on. Hush will be seeing me all summer.

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. “Great Restaurant Week Dinner. We have been to about 10 different restaurants for this year's restaurant week and Essex was far and away the best. The wagyu tartare was fantastic as was the grilled shrimp over polenta. Petite filet mignon had a $10 ucharge bupt was well worth it. The space was beautiful and our server, Jenna, was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!“

The greens that came with this dish were not generic mesclun mix greens, which I appreciated. They perfectly complemented the dish, this is little but I appreciate the details. “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“This was my second time at Blue Hill, although my last visit was several years ago before they moved to the Family Meal concept. And I really like it. Each course comes with an assortment of dishes that you can mix and match at your own pace, which makes the whole meal feel relaxed and fun.

I sat at the bar, and both the atmosphere and service were excellent as always. Every course was fantastic, and this is such a great time of year to visit when there are so many amazing vegetables in season. One course highlighted several different peppers, including a specially developed habanero that had all of the sweetness and none of the heat. Really cool! The dessert was really interesting as well as it incorporated Sungold tomatoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had tomatoes in a dessert before, but it was inspired and worked beautifully. A fantastic dinner. I’ll definitely be returning.“
