“The coffee house is chill, places to sit, wait time isn't bad at all. The staff are kind and accommodating and the prices are fair too (trust me, it's not outrageous!)
Besides that, this place host some events on Thursdays (every other Thursday, dont quote me though) and if you're new to Sunnyside I recommend it!

“We ate everything so fast that we forgot to take pictures, but here is half of our Juice. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and cheese and to say that sounds like OK yeah whatever, however, at the proprietors recommendation, I got that and so began my ascent into culinary Shangri-La! I also ordered the Indian scrambled eggs and had her add a little curry to it as well, and I say this next thing as a lifelong breakfast chef:
These were the best scrambled eggs I have ever put in my face! I could have continued to eat them until I was in pain and then I would still be sad to stop! However, the portion was perfect for me and my ever grazing fiancé! We also got two of the fresh juices, the anti-inflammatory and the veggie lovers and these were also next level delicious very large and everything was completely reasonably priced. I want to try out as many places as I can while I’m in New York briefly, but we’re gonna eat breakfast here again tomorrow! This is just too good!“

“So yummy! The food is so good but definitely on the lighter side flavor wise which i didn’t expect. Was very satisfied nonetheless! If you like a little more spice I added the red sauce from the Bara onto my Momo Chicken dumplings and it was 🔥“

“This little hole in the wall is exceptional. Mostly a take out joint with a rudimentary interior. The soups, the rice dishes, the salads, everything is way beyond what you’d expect. Exceeeding or at very least least matching the quality of many higher end traditional restaurants in Queens.“

“I wish I could give Jessica and the amazing team at Carvel in Woodside more than 5 stars! They always come through with amazing designs and beautiful cakes whenever we need. Most recently I surprised my son's class with Lunar new year ice cream cups and they were so beautiful! Everyone was blown away. Thank you as always for being a wonderful community member, for having the best ice cream and for bringing smiles to kids and adults alike! 😍“

“We were looking for a while for a new place to order ube cake. We found Purple Dough and tried the ube cake, donuts and crinkle cookies. Loved them all and we just ordered again!“

“I have been eating here since they opened! And somehow everything is consistently great night after night. They do have a few variations in winter, but the regular menus has something for everybody. The people that work here are super nice. I LOVE the tamales, and the enchiladas with mole verde; and their flan is excellent!“

“Kusina Pinoy Bistro is truly one of the best Filipino restaurants in Queens! The food is authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish reminds you of a comforting home-cooked Filipino meal.
What really stood out during our visit was their new Kamayan menu. Not only delicious and generous in portion, but also such a fun and memorable dining experience to share with family and friends. Everything was perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can really feel the warmth of Filipino hospitality here. The ambiance is also excellent! Clean, cozy, and vibrant without being too crowded (depends on time and day of the week).
Highly recommend Kusina Pinoy Bistro if you’re craving amazing Filipino food in Woodside. Definitely a must-try, especially their new Kamayan menu!“

“First time eating Bolivian food and it was out of this world! Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well“
