“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. “Really nice decor, if you’re in a group I’d recommend a reservation but walking in as 1-2 seems doable. Service can get backed up quickly so sometimes it takes awhile to order. But once they see you’re ready the waiter/waitress will make a point to get things moving for you. Food is excellent.“

The tortillas were soft, the fillings were well seasoned, and everything tasted freshly prepared. We tried a few different tacos, which made it nice to share and sample different flavors.

The margaritas were just as good—refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like you get at some places. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh lime, and they paired perfectly with the tacos.

“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. “If you're craving hot pot in the LIC area, this is a solid choice. Price obviously depends how much you get; dining as a party of 4, we spent around $50pp. Everything can be requested or ordered via the iPad (including a call service button), so there's limited direct contact with staff. I like how they provide bags for jackets to make sure not ALL of your possessions come out of the restaurant smelling like hotpot.

While it makes sense to have a big table to hold all of our ingredients, I felt the distance from one end to the table to the other was large! We had to raise our voices to talk to each other.

The sauce bar has the essentials as well as 2 side dishes (altho I don't remember what they were, I didn't end up getting them) and orange slices (we ate those at the end of the meal).

There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant, so there was a bit of a line when I had to go.“

“I was here a couple weeks ago. Very welcoming and friendly. I came here by myself sat at the bar. The attention to detail was there, the bartender was great with information on Japanese whiskey and cocktails. The dessert was blew my tastes bud away.“

“Went out for a girls’ night and had such a great time at Dive Bar! The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were good, and the staff was amazing. The manager Jay made us feel so welcomed and made sure we were having a good time throughout the night. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and the service was great. Definitely a good spot in Queens for drinks and a fun night out. We’ll definitely be back!“

Cannelle, given its name, is supposed to be great, but the pastries are pretty average. I can’t say whether they use the best ingredients, but judging by the interior, the service, and the prices, I wouldn’t expect them to.

That said, I’d still stop by from time to time because there aren’t many other options for decent desserts in this area.

They also have a bathroom and serve hot tea, which is always a plus!“

We were visiting for a birthday and had been fighting the busy crowds all weekend, so we were pretty relieved that we found a nice spot to eat and drink that was actually a calm and cool atmosphere. They do get slammed during peak lunch hours, but I’ve always received courteous service despite the wait.

“You can get delicious coffee almost anywhere in NYC, but Sweetleaf coffee is both delicious and unique. I love the Rocket Fuel, which is a cold brew, maple, milk concoction - never had anything like it elsewhere. The atmosphere is so relaxing with tables, a cozy couch and the record room in the back. The delicious selection of pastries are made in house (you can see the kitchen through a big window behind the laptop room). They do everything right at Sweetleaf!“
