“Great place for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians! Food is delicious and if you order coffee, they give it to you fresh in a French press. All gender bathroom is clean and has the cutest sink I've ever seen, will be back to eat at this restaurant again!“

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. “We came here after being directed from another bar because our group was too big, and what a great intervention from the universe. We immediately got a standing table for our group of 10+ and our host Genevieve welcomed us so warmly and so attentively, especially for my husband celebrating his birthday. Probably about 20 mins later, a table opened up and she was able to get our group seated, and get extra chairs from outside wiped from the rain.

The cocktails were great, our group had a bunch of the Grey Garden (Earl Grey-infused gin-based drink) and our host recommended other yummy cocktails, they had a handful of tea-infused ones that tasted great.

We thought we’d just stay for a drink or two but ended up staying for four hours until 2am. Another table ended up buying us a round of shots back and forth with us! This bar was good vibes all around, with great drinks, a great bartender, and amazing host - shout out for our great time, Genevieve!“

“I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

We dined in, plenty of seating, good music and were comfortable. There were a lot of customers in and out. The staff was friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with everyone. Food
Perhaps the least expected, but the food here is actually great. The highlight of it all is the grilled chicken caesar salad, we have yet to find a better one in this neighborhood. The tacos and grilled cheese are also not bad, but maybe more your typical bar stock.

Service
The bartenders all have a kind of calm, amicable presence. In the three years I’ve lived nearby, I’ve never seen even a trace of impatience, even on busy nights. They’re always getting into conversations with the locals, and it gives the place a friendly vibe.

Ambiance
I think this place is underrated as a date spot. It’s not fancy, and sometimes some of the tables can be a bit sticky (hey, spills happen it’s fair). But the lighting is nice — a warm amber light fills the place, and I think it makes you look better. I always feel like I have good conversations with people here, and I can’t quite say why, but I think it’s the vibe. If you’re not looking for anything too fancy, and just want a down to earth place to meet up with someone, this is your spot.

“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“
