“The tacos and margaritas were definitely the highlight of our visit! The tacos came out fresh and packed with flavor. The tortillas were soft, the fillings were well seasoned, and everything tasted freshly prepared. We tried a few different tacos, which made it nice to share and sample different flavors.

The margaritas were just as good—refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like you get at some places. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh lime, and they paired perfectly with the tacos.

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“We had the best pre cruise visit since we were staying nearby at a hotel. Both bartenders were excellent and the regular customers! Made us “southerners” feel comfy and offered up ideas and suggestions of navigating the concrete jungle! If we ever return to NY, we will definitely be back. Awesome food! Awesome service! “Anable Basin is literally one of my favorite spots in the city, especially during the summer. The views are so pretty, the drinks are good, and the whole vibe is just so fun and relaxed. The staff is also super cool and personable. I love coming here with friends, sitting by the water, and watching the sunset (the best view in New York imo). Definitely a go-to spot for me!“

“We came here after being directed from another bar because our group was too big, and what a great intervention from the universe. We immediately got a standing table for our group of 10+ and our host Genevieve welcomed us so warmly and so attentively, especially for my husband celebrating his birthday. Probably about 20 mins later, a table opened up and she was able to get our group seated, and get extra chairs from outside wiped from the rain.

The cocktails were great, our group had a bunch of the Grey Garden (Earl Grey-infused gin-based drink) and our host recommended other yummy cocktails, they had a handful of tea-infused ones that tasted great.

We thought we’d just stay for a drink or two but ended up staying for four hours until 2am. Another table ended up buying us a round of shots back and forth with us! This bar was good vibes all around, with great drinks, a great bartender, and amazing host - shout out for our great time, Genevieve!“

“I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

We dined in, plenty of seating, good music and were comfortable. There were a lot of customers in and out. The staff was friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with everyone. “Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“
