“This was our first fine dining and first Michelin-starred restaurant experience. It could not have been more comfortable and easy for a first-timer to this scene. We both got drinks, the pull-apart pistachio bread, and the 3-course prix fixe restaurant week menu. Value was great. Quality of the food was top-notch. Service was excellent. The place was probably too refined for us and our palate, but it delivered even to us from flyover countryside. Really happy with our experience here.“

“The Black Label burger is so delicious and earns is reputation. However the star of our meal was the Coté de Boeuf. It’s a rib steak grilled over an open flame. They present the perfectly cooked steak to you and then expertly slice it. Bonus, the bone marrow is included and tastes like meat butter. It says for 2 but can easily feed 3.“

Dietary restrictions: Staff is very conscious of restrictions and allergies and we received a text well in advance of our reservation to ask about such things.

Parking: Take the train, parking in manhattan is unpredictable

Kid-friendliness: I would not take kids here. It’s an adult-focused dining experience.“

Out of all the food we ordered we enjoyed:
- agnolotti: super creamy and perfectly cooked, portion size is small but pretty heavy.
- brick chicken: this was really well done especially for the price, the skin was perfectly crispy
- cookie with ice cream

I thought could probably skip:
- Laotian sushi (although it was kind of interesting)
- foie gras
- chilli lobster (this was a little underwhelming)

“Wow. The food was exceptional - I cannot recommend enough the frogs legs and the duck. Absolutely first rate - what a chef. And the bar staff were charming and made us feel included. Really a great night which - honestly- on a Tuesday in Manhattan is amazing!! I have to call out future music star CLANCY (that’s all CAPS) who ran the bar, bloody brilliant and what a talent!!“

Very nice atmosphere and vibe however. The spicy wasn't very spicy and I'm not the biggest fan of heat.

Kid-friendliness: It was very low key, though there's not a lot of diversity in the menu. It'd be great for kids as long as they like the food so check the menu first. There was no kids menu.“

Having dined at some of the finest restaurants around the world, we find that this spot rivals, and in many cases surpasses, all others. Our most recent visit was a mid-morning couple’s dining stop—our answer to a calling to bring pure health and exquisite taste into our bodies and souls. abcV was the perfect answer. We indulged in the unique “Pollen” smoothie (pollen, jungle peanut butter, dates, banana, almond milk, Himalayan salt). I can’t emphasize enough how delicious this chilled and creamy culinary delight was! Served elegantly in a cabernet-style wine glass, I could immediately feel my cells rejuvenate with this healthy creation. The warm vegan croissant was also lovely, with just the right amount of flakiness, perfectly paired with homemade apple butter—yum! The second you walk in you experience the lovely and unique furniture as you are walking back you are welcomed by the host and are escorted to the glass elevator that brings you up to the top floor. The views going up are beautiful and when you reach the top floor it's extremely welcoming and glamorous. Chandeliers everywhere and the chic seating areas are so comfortable. We ordered the salads and burgers. The lobster roll was delicious as well. Have to get the Delice de Bourgogne cheese for the table. It's fabulous! Thank you!“

The way Chef Cupps teases the flavor out of vegetables and meats is just astounding. We are in heaven! We also ordered from 232 Bleecker on Christmas Eve, and the food was once again incredible. We are huge fans of Chef Cupps. She previously cooked at UnTitled at the Whitney which was our favorite restaurant in NYC. We are so glad that she and Nick and the rest of her beautiful staff are doing so well.“

We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste!
