Why we love it:
•Didn’t have a reservation, they found us a table right away, despite being packed!

•They feature a really unique drink menu, definitely upscale on the bites and appetizers, the bar has been recently renovated giving it a great ambiance to was the races, games etc“

“We have been using Hair of the Dog for about 4years now and is really impressed by the quality of work they do on our dog. Very convenient to every family needs. Always willing to help you with your concerns and always give us the best advice when we ask. We use Carolina who is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend her and the company for your pets needs.“

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

“Opened at 7 PM. We got there at 7:14 and it was PACKED and they music was bumpin'. We sat at the last table available and a waitress came to get our order immediately. My gf and I split a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries w a side salad. Portions were generous for the city and we left full! Seemed like a big party bar and we loved the energy! Wish we could've stayed longer!“

“The band, The Gyst were fantastic. They are a professional band, sound great, and I drove 3 hours to hear them play. The place and people loved them, I would suggest having them play at your establishment more often. The food was also phenomenal.“

“I love this place. I spent a couple nights over NFL Wildcard weekend this year watching the games. Great small town bar vibes, excellent for watching the games (especially on the Monday night, when it was much quieter than Saturday). Great barmen, no music and friendly clientele. You can order in your own food too.“

“Stopped in for one drink on my way back to my hotel but wound up staying a lot longer & having such a fun night at 3 Sheets. The bartender Rudy was amazing (despite his major flaw of being a Red Sox fan) - the perfect combination of being entertaining and attentive without being intrusive. I'll seek this place out again when I come back to NYC.“

“Great neighborhood bar. They recently changed a lot of the staff, this is not common for a neighborhood bar, but it “corporately owned, they have 8 other bars in the city. I like it before 10-11pm and during the week because the weekends have that “bridge & tunnel , young & drunk” energy. If it’s one of those nights you want to dance or “go big” rather than “go home” it has a DJ’s and a variety of music. Tuesdays I’ve seen a live band that was really good. It’s a fun place. Wade, one of the new bartenders is awesome, and a girl with straight blonde hair, I just can’t remember her name at the moment. They work together on Tuesdays. Their food comes from Gin Mill, their sister bar down the street. Their tater tots are really good, chicken tendersare decent. Their food in general is pretty good and decent prices.“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“I was having an event, at a location that was across the street from Goldie’s. Due to a communication error, we needed to change venues- literally 30 minutes before the start time. In stepped Goldie’s. The staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful.

What could have been a disaster was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the celebratory lemon drops were much appreciated.

I’m grateful to Goldie’s for the hospitality and highly recommend.“

“Love this place! Amalio is so welcoming and prepares the best drinks, always happy to experiment with off-menu drinks too. Music and vibes are great, and prices are completely reasonable ($15-20 per drink, $10 happy hour). Will be coming back soon for more great memories!

“As a Nottingham Forest fan living in NYC, how I’ve only discovered this bar is beyond me.

Decent selection of European draft beers and food, ordered the bacon sarnie (kudos on calling it that btw), I also kept seeing pretzels the size of a small car being served which was impressive in its own right, so even if you don’t like sports but like massive knots of dough this is a sight to behold in its own right.

Atmosphere wasn’t obnoxious and plays all the important football matches with a scheduled and well organized setup, TV’s are labelled with what game they’re playing and they have a calendar on their website with what games they’re showing in advance. Although they should be more active with their instagram but hey?

So congratulations Smithfield Hall, you’ve successfully managed to drag me from the depths of Brooklyn all the way into the city to what football. I look forward to coming here more often.“

“Amazing chicken tenders. I mean truly amazing gourmet level. But it just comes without fries which I didn’t realize. So it was 12.99 for chicken tenders and 6.99 for fries ( a little steep for fries). 5$ draft beer on Sundays from 7pm - midnight is hard to beat. Good atmosphere if you want a chill environment to watch sports.“

New here, is Boardy Barn Sundays. The famous party from the Hamptons has relocated to Houston Hall. Always a great time here! :-)“
