“This neighborhood gem is perfect for a rooftop experience under the NY skyline. We went at 4:30 on a weekday for a business drink and it was quiet for 30 mins til the after work happy hour crowd filled up. Fun vibe and views regardless. One thing that we didn’t appreciate was the sneaky 20% gratuity added to the bill so beware before you tap the 7%, 5%, or 3% tip option on the payment screen. You’ll be paying a 27%, 25%, or 23% tip if you do. While the auto tip addition is noted on the menu (the bartender explained), it’s easy to miss. The on-screen bill you sign omits that important info. Not cool.“

“A spot I've been to before and it's still cool. Love the drinks and food. The music is a little loud so it's hard to hear people around me. Good place. 8.5/10. They have drink specials so you can save $ that way. Food is $10-$20 so it depends.“

“Blue Haven sits in a cool location and is a great spot to grab a drink. Sit back and watch them one of the many TVs that has sports airing. Anytime I'm in the city. It's worth stopping by this cool little spot surrounded by lots of great restaurants. Always attentive, courteous and friendly staff make this a must-stop.“

“Wow! After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“Out-of-Towners! We wanted to find a bar showing the NOLA Saints game. We went to one bar & NOPE! We randomly walked around and stumbled upon Turnmill Bar with hopes. No Saints game ? BUT sat at the bar to regroup & get drinks. This one has a nice atmosphere. We could tell this place was just getting amped up for “game-day”. Regulars / Friends started showing up with jerseys on. My boyfriend asked our sweet bartender if they could change the TV to our game. My boyfriend even said we could move to a table so they dont have to change the TVs at the bar. (We do understand the gaints game will be more important than ours) The manager was AMAZING & willing to change the tv in front of us at the bar so we dont have to move. With me managing a sports bar myself, I was impressed!
We ended up staying there through the whole game. Got more drinks and food. I highly recommend the Summer Grace, Espresso Martini and the Jessie’s Spring drinks. ALSO the wings! ❤️
We will be back. Thanks for making our game-day perfect! We loved the atmosphere and felt like we found a gem of a regular neighbor style bar.❤️“

“I organized a company event here and we had a great time. The service is great and the food is okay. The place is crowded, but Considering it’s off broadway and Times Square I can understand the constraints. If you are a ping pong enthusiast, I recommend this place.“

“Lived next to this bar for 8 years. Smithfield hall still reigns supreme as the best place to watch soccer/futbol in nyc. Definitely make reservations for big matches and be ready for a packed bar. This is where the Europeans in nyc go to see their teams !“

“Love this place! Amalio is so welcoming and prepares the best drinks, always happy to experiment with off-menu drinks too. Music and vibes are great, and prices are completely reasonable ($15-20 per drink, $10 happy hour). Will be coming back soon for more great memories!
Wheelchair accessibility: Very narrow so probably not easy to navigate inside but no stairs“

“Just wanted to share that I use to come to this place in college and revisited it for the first time in 15 years the other night and couldn’t believe how nice the staff was! Bartenders were really cool and attentive. I got a little too happy and forgot my phone on a table and staff member gave it to the bartender (hence the selfie attached to this review haha) I had to post as these guys gave me such a laugh when I saw this photo the next morning:-) They were both stellar and one even patted my forehead because I was so sweaty! ❤️❤️ ? ? ?“

“Houston Hall
There are multiple matches for Houston Hall, including a student union at the University of Pennsylvania and a brew pub in New York City:
University of Pennsylvania
Houston Hall is the oldest student union in the United States, built in 1896 as a private club for Penn students. The building is located at 3417 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 and has been renovated several times, including a multi-million dollar project in 2000. Today, the building is a center for campus life, with a food court, retail space, and 14 event spaces for social, educational, and cultural activities.
New York City
Houston Hall is a brew pub and beer hall in the West Village. Some say the food is a bit pricey, but recommend the beef sliders, grilled shrimp skewers, and grilled cheese stack. The brew pub also offers cocktails, including margaritas, Aperol spritzes, and Moscow mules.“

“Eagle is a rare thing in the concrete jungle of NYC. I rarely see it. ? Eagle ? rare is one of my favorite whiskeys I tried a few years ago and like it a lot. Also Johnny and Evan William. I have a new whiskey drinker palette ? but I'm specific about what I like. Much more to discover and I know this is a place I can taste American brands to like.Nice place. Spacious and aerated with just the proper light for a cozy ambiance.Friendly staff. Kaitlyn went above and beyond to provide great service. I tried an eagle ? rare old fashion. It was delicious.Ten years anniversary today and I want to congratulate you ?? on a decade milestone and wish you many more decades to come.,“
