“Wow! After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“The band, The Gyst were fantastic. They are a professional band, sound great, and I drove 3 hours to hear them play. The place and people loved them, I would suggest having them play at your establishment more often. The food was also phenomenal.“

“Was in Printers Alley this weekend with my parents for the first time staying in a hotel nearby and found this place really nice and chill with good food, loads of TVs for games with a big NFL game on while we were in - We sat at the bar as a lot of the tables were reserved but Thomas was so nice and took great care of us while checking in regularly with us to make sure we were okay while also giving my parents a laugh and recommendations on what to do around the city. Can't fault this bar at all and will definitely be back next time in NYC!“

“What’s to Share. Claire and Nikki and Cahir are rockstars. Foods is good, service is the best I’ve seen next to me pouring rockstars to those who want to drink. If only you could See my shoulders wiggle and rock right now, you’d get it If you don’t go get you don’t know how to live.“

“Really solid sports bar on the UES. Great drink deals and the food is delicious. They have super crispy tater tots, onion rings, and fries. We usually order the buffalo chicken wrap or burger - both are good. Service can be a little slower (they don’t have a huge staff) but everyone is really nice. Ambience is good also.“

“Chill sports bar with good food and drinks. Came here with no reservation to watch the Knick’s playoff game, and was able to be seated right away. Plenty of TVs to watch from. The patty melt, Caesar salad, and onion rings were good. The West Side Story drink kind of tastes like cherry medicine. The Pornstar Martini was very yummy. Service was quick initially but became slow as the restaurant filled up. The bathrooms were out of soap and toilet paper early on in the night.“

“The Throwback is hands down the best sports bar on the Upper West Side, and honestly, one of the best hangs in all of NYC.
From the moment you walk in, you feel it, this place has a soul. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun. It is the kind of spot where you sink into your seat and never want to leave. The menu is solid, the drink selection is great (cocktails, beers, you name it), and the staff is in a league of their own. They don't just serve you, they make you feel like you've been invited into their home.
For sports fans, The Throwback is an absolute paradise. TVs everywhere, great sightlines no matter where you sit, and an energy that makes every game feel like an event. And the memorabilia? It's INCREDIBLE. The walls alone will stop you in your tracks.
A huge shoutout to Brit and Alex, who pour their hearts into this place and have built something truly special for the neighborhood. Whether you are coming in for a casual night out, a big game, or planning a private party, The Throwback delivers every single time. Do yourself a favor — go. You won't regret it. 🏆🍹“

“Nice little Bar/Restaurant within walking distance from the Museum of Natural History. Outdoor seated is covered to keep diners out of the sun or rain. Tables are very small, not ideal for big parties or for families with strollers.
Drinks (The Dude) were very well made (strong!) and Downeast Cider on tap was an added bonus.
Bathrooms are small but clean and sufficient.
Double Smash burger was smaller than expected but it was very tasty as were the fries that came with it. Hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious (bigger than the burger) and the truffle fries were very flavorful.“
“I came here specifically for the Espresso Martini, and it did not disappoint. The Classic was excellent, and the Peanut Butter Espresso Martini was arguably the best I’ve had in NYC so far. My bartender, David, was an absolute rock star. He was attentive, professional, personable, and genuinely leaned in to deliver an exceptional experience. This is a wonderful establishment with top-tier service. I can’t wait to return!“

“I have very fond memories here, it was like a little home from home for me while I was bi Atlantic for 6 years, working on the same block as the Pig There are lots of “Irish pubs” in the vicinity, although this is the only one that felt like a real pub in the UK rather than a novelty in New York Hopefully I will be back again one day! Thanks for great times when I was missing home 🇬🇧 xxx“

“The first thing that hits you is the space itself. The layout of the inside bar is positioned perfectly to flood the entire room with gorgeous, natural light. It gives the whole venue a warm, vibrant glow that makes it genuinely impossible not to smile the second you take a seat. It completely redefines the typical neighborhood bar aesthetic, trading the usual dark, moody pub feel for something bright, open, and incredibly uplifting.
What truly sets Wilka’s apart is its heartbeat: it is a women’s sports only bar. This focus creates an absolute powerhouse of a crowd. There is a beautiful, shared camaraderie in the room—everyone is united by a love for the game and a passion for supporting women’s sports. The energy during a match is electric, inclusive, and fiercely supportive. It’s exactly the kind of intentional space the city needed, and the community response proves just how special it is.
A bar can have great lighting, but it’s the people who give it a soul. The bartending team here is phenomenal—packed with genuine kindness, infectious excitement, and a refreshing eagerness to make you feel welcome.
A massive shoutout to Alyssa, who is an absolute standout behind the pine. Beyond making a stellar drink, she is a huge Panic! At The Disco fan. Striking up a conversation with her about music makes for some of the most fun, engaging, and memorable banter you’ll find anywhere on the Lower East Side.
Wilka’s isn’t just a place to grab a drink; it’s a community hub with a massive heart. Whether you are a die-hard sports fan or just want to surround yourself with great people in a beautiful space, please visit this place! You’ll come for the unique concept, but you’ll stay for the warmth, the laughs, and the unforgettable atmosphere.“

“This is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and burger. Just a short walk from Washington Square Park, it's the perfect spot to hit after a day of shopping. Rocco's has a killer happy hour! I sipped on a cold beer and an espresso martini. The burger was seriously one of the best I’ve had in ages—cooked perfectly with toasted buns, and the fries were nicely portioned. The sports bar vibe here is awesome; the place is decked out with all kinds of sports gear, and in the corner, there's a nostalgic basketball game playing. Definitely a spot to chill with friends or catch the game with a brew.“

“Travelled to NYC from London just after new year with my wife and son and researched before we came where to catch the game and this place was everywhere when I looked up places to watch Arsenal, I had to come and experience it and was not disappointed! extremely welcomed by the locals and regulars, beautiful atmosphere and very friendly topped off by the excellent bar staff and of course the legendary Christiano. I could tell just from 1 visit O'Hanlons is a very community orientated bar who do so much for the people around them“

“We were looking for a place to have a cocktail and play darts. This place was better than expected. We only saw 1 dartboard but that was all we needed. There were plenty of TVs with sports on. “What an awesome place. came in for the flyers/rangers game. wanted a spot with tvs, and great food and drink. Awesome music, and it's one of the more refined sports bars in the area with only a 2 min walk to Madison Square Garden. The staff was amazing and so welcoming. Will definitely be returning soon. “Ayg 25th drove up from CT to this spot because we heard their wings were excellent and we love good wings. As a foodie and blogger we will travel for good wings and great service...sadly the wings was a total let down.😕. our waitress bless her heart recommended our picks and she stated they didn't look up to par after I asked why the lemon pepper I ordered was wet and it says dry rub. literally tasted like fried dirt with lemon juice squeezed over it. my other flavor garlic teriyaki was flavorful but salty. our picks were also underwhelming. I asked if the manager could take off 10.00 as 20 wings was 30. n change and I couldn't even stomach those wings. he told the waitress no flat out, didn't offer to even remake or select another flavor.. when I asked her if I could speak with him directly bc maybe she didn't convey my disappointment well...she said he'll come over. waited 25 minutes...I watched him do everything he could like fake clean the bar fake busy start fake conversations to never come over to our table. when we just decided to leave...he had the audacity to say have a good day adding insult to injury. you would think if a combined tab is near 200.00 you would be more accommodating and hospitable. this was by far the worst city restaurant experience. no way this mediocre establishment is 5.0 stars. I will be going on every review platform to share my horrible experience and share among my fellow bloggers to avoid this establishment at all costs. Never again!“
“the wings were fire and they even gave us free shot“

“Review Edit: I went in to have my order fixed from last time. I got an email from corporate that they'll gladly assist me. I came back to the same location. I talked with the nice staffs, and Mr. Cineas, I told him what was the situation, he apologized and was the sweetest, very attentive. He gave me what I had ordered which were two bourbon cheeseburgers just in time before I had to start my shift. I really appreciate for your helpful and responsive customer service, you really made my day better. I will remain a loyal guest in the next visit.“
