This was our third visit to The Splendid and it continues to impress. Food is delicious, service is outstanding (thank you Jenna and Mickey), and the vibe is fun and fresh. We visit NYC several times a year and this is the only restaurant we return to regularly.
Perfect combo of upscale comfort and World Cup viewing! We got a booth in the back area for our group so we were removed from the crowd but could still see the match on tvs throughout the space. It was way too loud for group conversation until after the game, appreciated that they turned off the tvs in the back at that point. Drinks were great but long wait. Food was good but serving sizes were smaller than expected for sharing. Would def go back!
Great choice. The Focaccia is great. It comes with a ricotta cheese, which was very good. However, I’m just a butter person. So, we got focaccia a With butter. Brussels were stellar. Our waitress, Carley, was also good!
I only give “atmosphere” 4/5, because I didn’t like the music selection.

The Splendid is a great local date night spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The art deco, mid-century modern decor is a dream. The food is fantastic and delicious, with standout dishes including the Brussel sprouts, oysters Rockefeller, tomahawk steaks, and lava cake. Breakfast is also delicious. Cocktails are balanced and well-made. The service is thoughtful, efficient, and attentive, with specific thanks to the host and servers. The ambiance, music, and even the bathrooms are really nice. It is a wonderful place where guests happily stay until close, and many plan to return and recommend it.
