“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“Watched the world cup here. We had reservations and we sat upstairs. Only two smaller tvs upstairs but they did the job. The food was good but not incredible. The server was excellent. One weird thing, they made a mistake with our order and brought out wings with buffalo sauce instead of bbq. I told the server about it and the kitchen made us another order, but they took the buffalo wings that they messed up. Is that weird? I mean, they probably just threw them out and I could have eaten them... (My kids are the ones that can't handle the heat.) Good experience, even if my team lost!!“

“We needed someplace close prior to attending the Haunted Soiree at 60 Pine St. I had a Swiss and mushroom burger with their outstanding French fries. It was all a very good choice.“

“Absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious and the 'OG' daiquiri made by Cian is now my favourite cocktail (nothing like what i've ever had before). The service was so friendly and the music playlist was so good I had to ask who made it (I believe it was Martin?) - definitely made us stay for an extra drink or two haha. “Nice atmosphere in the evening with attentive bar staff and decent prices. There’s lots of screens for following the sport and there’s a wide range of drinks on offer. It’s a popular place but if you manage to get a seat then it’s a decent option for a drink.“

“The best place in the neighborhood“

“While in the city last weekend, we were looking for a place to watch the FIFA match and McGregor vs. Holloway fight. Initially we walked to a couple other places not far away, but then circled back to this place which ended up being pretty for us (it was across the street from where we were staying). We got there early enough that it didn't take long to get inside and we had our pick at bar seats, so we got one right in front of the TVs that had both fifa and the fights on.

The place itself is pretty big and spacious with a long bar on the left side as you are walking through, and high top tables and booths behind it. The vibe and decor gives what you would like of a pub. But again, very spacious and it eventually filled up fast after we were there for a little while.

Service was good and our waitress (one of the bartenders) was great at checking on us, getting us what we need and just had overall good energy. We had a few rounds of shots and drinks along with our food. I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and opted for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, and it was pretty good. Cooked well, tasty, the slaw was fresh and added flavor but wasn't overbearing. My boyfriend said he enjoyed his food too which was the Double Stacked Smash Burger with white cheddar and add-ons of bacon, lettuce and tomato.

“This place is amazing! It’s a centrally located Irish pub. EASY access to all the trains. Easily the best Guinness draft pour on most trips to the city. The coolest thing is you use the QR code to order from any of a half dozen different restaurants and the food is delivered to you in the large, open bar. Look for Elizabeth. She’s efficient, helpful, creative and friendly. Wonderful venue, right next to the escalators to trains running in every direction. Give them a try! (It was clean, comfortable and friendly.)“

“Watched NBA Finals Game 5 here and the atmosphere was unbelievable. The pub was packed with fans, creating an exciting and energetic crowd that made the game even more memorable. Great place to watch live sports, enjoy a drink, and soak up the lively pub atmosphere. Even if you're not there for a game, it's a fun spot with plenty of character and a welcoming vibe.“

“Fun hipster spot in the East Village. Saturday evening the place was busy but service was good. Had their Adobo rubbed wings and really good. The fish and chips were awesome and the best I've had ever anywhere. I'd go again in a jiffy.“

“I first discovered Finnegans Wake in 1990 and it was and still is my favorite NY place. Those were the days, my friend. We thought they’d never end but I haven’t been back to NYC since 2013. “Me and my family love Cassidy’s. We go to NY every year for Christmas. This year we had a group of 23 and Seamus was able to accommodate us with a reservation. Our waiter was Joe C. ,who was great. It’s not easy waiting on a large group of people, but he was super patient and kind.“

Started off with this appetizer - Greek Style Shawarma Meatball Skewers with Lemon 🍋 Feta, Kalamata Olives 🫒 and Mint. For the Main Course I had Miso Citrus 🍊 Salmon 🍣 Along with Chicory 🥬 Kale and Apple 🍎 Salad 🥗 with Shaved Goat 🐐 Cheese 🧀, Pancetta, Candied Pecans, Apple Cider Vinaigrette. Oh yeah. The meal was slamming! By the way. Ran into two separate people that I know before leaving the restaurant. You can’t go no where in NYC without seeing somebody lol 😂. Nice spot to dine. #StoutNYC“

“I came down for the first time last month to watch the Celtic match starting at 7 am, I didn't know what to expect but the food was great, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was great even in the early morning. I was so impressed I stayed after to watch the EPL matches they were showing even though I'm not a big EPL fan. I will definitely be coming back, and it's a must-visit for any Celtic supporter in the New York area.“
