Shades of Green Pub & Restaurant is a great spot and an amazing gem, perfect for a large group to find refuge. It offers a fun family environment, provided by the lovely family that owns the establishment. The atmosphere is very New York style, and it is an excellent place to host a group event, celebration, or marathon after-party. The staff is lovely, excellent, and super funny and nice, often going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. They are super communicative, accommodating, and attentive, making the whole process easy and seamless.
The food is standard pub fare, reasonably priced, delicious, and really good. It is perfect for a group outing. Recommended items include the French onion soup and buffalo wings; the wings are a little spicy and sour and come with blue cheese sauce. The drinks are great, including a great dirty martini. Service can sometimes take a little long, but the team ensures everyone is fed, looked after, and having fun. Guests feel welcomed, never rushed, and always well attended to, often feeling like visiting family for the holidays.
