The food from here is killer, too. Did not think the bar food would hit the way it did. I’ve now had most things on the menu. It’s all fire.

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“The young man sat us in the dinning room area because we wanted to OSU vs Texas game. Because we were the only ones in the room he turned up the volume. It is not a sports bar, it is a Irish bar to watch sports and hang out. Great food and service to acompany.“

“This restaurant has been in Whitestone for over 38 years and it’s a secret Gem the stuffed veal chop is enormous and it’s awesome the staff is really nice and the marinated steak is the best if in Whitestone it’s worth the trip“

“The restaurant has a area for sitting if you want to eat and another section if you want to drink at the bar. We had a nice lady who attended us and was quick with our orders. The food was pretty good. The mac and cheese was very cheesy. I thought it was cool they brought the burger with the toppings on the side so it didn’t get soggy and you can add it yourself after. The food is made fresh everyday so I recommend trying it out.“

“10/10 excellent experience, hats off to the excellent crew here that makes everything possible. My girlfriend and I headed to the city for the day and stumbled upon this gem in the financial district. I ordered the striker spritz and my girlfriend the lucky cat, a wonderful take on a spritz, contemporary, fresh, and fun with Irish whiskey. Fun fact, they serve over 60 of them here, and her drink was similar to that of a lychee martini, but much better. We arrived deciding to dine tapas style, we ordered the fish tacos and the sliders. The tacos were cod I believe, beer battered, moist, tender, and cooked to perfection with light flour tortillas and topped with cabbage and fresh vegetables, I wish there were more! The sliders were out of this world! Succulent, juicy, and all in all a perfect bite size snack, think the best burger you’ve ever had, but better, very fresh. We were served by Jayda and Dana, who were extremely friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. If this location is a hike, I heard their location by Penn station is great as well. 10/10 would recommend great food, drinks, and time. Thank you Stout! Sincerely,

“Great spot to grab a beer or drink while waiting for your train. Convenient location right inside the station, relaxed atmosphere, and a nice selection of beers. I had the Allagash White and Brooklyn Lager—both are definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something from the Northeast. Perfect place to kill some time before your train without having to leave the station.“

“Nice atmosphere in the evening with attentive bar staff and decent prices. There’s lots of screens for following the sport and there’s a wide range of drinks on offer. It’s a popular place but if you manage to get a seat then it’s a decent option for a drink.“

“Loved growing up learning about the San Patricios history. Now it’s celebrated in a restaurant! Nothing quite like eating ceviche, drinking a Smitchwicks, and listening to some great Irish folk songs. Loving the GAA wait staff uniforms too! Great service, great atmosphere and great food!“

“Fun hipster spot in the East Village. Saturday evening the place was busy but service was good. Had their Adobo rubbed wings and really good. The fish and chips were awesome and the best I've had ever anywhere. I'd go again in a jiffy.“

“I first discovered Finnegans Wake in 1990 and it was and still is my favorite NY place. Those were the days, my friend. We thought they’d never end but I haven’t been back to NYC since 2013. I heard Ignatius passed and May he RIP and Frank, the best bartender must have retired. If not, please give him a shout out from his “California Girls , Maria and Kelly.“

“I got chocolate chips pancake and turkey egg cheese with home fries. Sandwich was good, they added tomato sauce with mayo, so it all blend in together. The pancake was little disappointing as I had to eat it dry because didn’t provide any syrup. But it was soft and fresh. Would order here again.“

“I really wanted to love this place. The decoration and atmosphere are homey. The waitresses have been nice. The bangers and mash were good last time I went. But I've been here 3 times and really expected this to be a regular place for me. But I brought a new friend here and she didn't have a good experience.

We both ordered the brunch special and shared an appetizer. After bringing us our Mimosa and soda bread, a few minutes later we were told they were out of broccoli quiche and only had ham quiche. My friend didn't want ham so she changed to the mini sheapards pie.

The food was ok, her sheapards pie was ok, French onion soup was ok, my ham quiche wasn't good. It was greasy, over cooked, no flavor, I only had a few bites.

When the bill came my friend was charged 9.35 for her small mimosa. I asked for it to be taken off the bill because it wasn't our fault they didn't have the brunch item she ordered and she didn't want ham. The manager told our waitress no, that my friend changed her mind and didn't get the brunch so now she has to pay full price for the mimosa (but they didn't charge for her soda bread).

This should have been handled differently. They could have given her a discount, brunch, happy hour price. We never would have paid 9.35 for a mimosa and we do get them a lot at other brunch places. Or it should have been mentioned when she had to change her order that since they already brought her drink and bread so she should chose another brunch item or would be charged for the drink.

So we left feeling slighted, had to make an effort to forget it and have a nice day. But we were both annoyed. The Manager should have compromised since it wasn't our idea to get drinks first then change her order.

My friend will never go back and I'm bummed, I wanted to like the place so bad. We spent $88 on brunch for two and are always good, polite customers that take and post pics and always tip minimum 20 percent.“

“This is one of my favorite place to go. Eileen is very awesome as is the rest of the staff. This is a true gem for a service worker like myself. Monday is my Friday and my friends will walk over here with me and let me get a proper pint or three. Life ain’t so bad when you can sit here for an evening.“
