“I’ve lived around the corner for years and finally stopped in a couple months ago to watch the Yankees. It’s great! The bartenders are friendly.

The food from here is killer, too. Did not think the bar food would hit the way it did. I’ve now had most things on the menu. It’s all fire.

But everything from basic appetizers to fries to shepherds pie to sandwiches to soup is amazing.Overall cheap prices and reliably open even in new years day, Xmas, Xmas eve etc. Kitchen open crazy late as well. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “We happened to find the Westbury Irish Pub while we were in New York and we’re glad we did.

The waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was excellent and, so far, it’s the best Irish breakfast we’ve found in New York.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything we ordered was very good.

“This Irish pub has a warm, authentic neighborhood atmosphere, complete with beautiful woodwork and friendly regulars. The Guinness was poured to perfection, and the Shepherd’s Pie was hearty, flavorful, and among the best I’ve had in NYC. I also enjoyed the fish and chips. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The total cost was around $20 to $30 per person. It's a true gem in the Financial District!“

“This restaurant has been in Whitestone for over 38 years and it’s a secret Gem the stuffed veal chop is enormous and it’s awesome the staff is really nice and the marinated steak is the best if in Whitestone it’s worth the trip“

“Nice atmosphere in the evening with attentive bar staff and decent prices. There’s lots of screens for following the sport and there’s a wide range of drinks on offer. It’s a popular place but if you manage to get a seat then it’s a decent option for a drink.“

“I first discovered Finnegans Wake in 1990 and it was and still is my favorite NY place. Those were the days, my friend. We thought they’d never end but I haven’t been back to NYC since 2013. I heard Ignatius passed and May he RIP and Frank, the best bartender must have retired. If not, please give him a shout out from his “California Girls , Maria and Kelly.“

“Watched NBA Finals Game 5 here and the atmosphere was unbelievable. The pub was packed with fans, creating an exciting and energetic crowd that made the game even more memorable. Great place to watch live sports, enjoy a drink, and soak up the lively pub atmosphere. Even if you're not there for a game, it's a fun spot with plenty of character and a welcoming vibe.“

“Fun hipster spot in the East Village. Saturday evening the place was busy but service was good. Had their Adobo rubbed wings and really good. The fish and chips were awesome and the best I've had ever anywhere. I'd go again in a jiffy.“

“I got chocolate chips pancake and turkey egg cheese with home fries. Sandwich was good, they added tomato sauce with mayo, so it all blend in together. The pancake was little disappointing as I had to eat it dry because didn’t provide any syrup. But it was soft and fresh. Would order here again.“

“Classic Irish pub and a neighborhood staple, with a homey atmosphere, great service and solidly delicious pub standards. We had the beef sliders, mini shepherds pie, onion rings and buffalo wings- all served quickly and with excellent service. We came on a night that was absolutely slammed due to a concert in Forest Hills Stadium being cancelled. The servers here handled the rush with grace and speed, and kept everyone happy with attentive service.“

“The restaurant has a area for sitting if you want to eat and another section if you want to drink at the bar. We had a nice lady who attended us and was quick with our orders. The food was pretty good. The mac and cheese was very cheesy. I thought it was cool they brought the burger with the toppings on the side so it didn’t get soggy and you can add it yourself after. The food is made fresh everyday so I recommend trying it out.“

“Had such a great time here watching the Knicks win the championship game. Food was good, it was crowded but not packed, they did a fantastic job regulating the size despite a massive line outside. Our bartender Morgan was HUSTLING and the whole staff was great.

I’ve never left a review for a bar before and maybe it’s just the high of the Knicks winning but this place rocked.

“This place is amazing! It’s a centrally located Irish pub. EASY access to all the trains. Easily the best Guinness draft pour on most trips to the city. The coolest thing is you use the QR code to order from any of a half dozen different restaurants and the food is delivered to you in the large, open bar. Look for Elizabeth. She’s efficient, helpful, creative and friendly. Wonderful venue, right next to the escalators to trains running in every direction. Give them a try! (It was clean, comfortable and friendly.)“
