“Went there for company presentation so only had some of there appetizers. The chicken fingers mozzarella sticks and spring rolls. All were very tasty and the portion was great. All were served with tasty sauce. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other people that were there were raving about the foods that they had. The only downfall is parking around there.“

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “The young man sat us in the dinning room area because we wanted to OSU vs Texas game. Because we were the only ones in the room he turned up the volume. It is not a sports bar, it is a Irish bar to watch sports and hang out. Great food and service to acompany.“

“We stopped in after a fun filled day of doing the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island. I got the shepherds pie and it was delicious and he got the burger and it was so juicy and the fries were good also. Also the French Onion soup deserves an award! Would definitely recommend if you’re in town. We were visiting from Philadelphia!“

“We stopped at The Irish Exit at Moynihan Train Hall right after arriving in NYC, and overall we had a really good experience!
I started with the fried plantains, which I didn’t realize came topped with green sauce and cheese. The green sauce was DELICIOUS, but I absolutely hated the cheese 😂 so I ended up removing most of it. Once I did, I really enjoyed the plantains.

The boneless wings were probably the only disappointing part. They were pretty expensive for what you get, only five pieces, and honestly nothing particularly special. The fries, on the other hand, were really good and the portion was generous.

But the absolute star of the meal was the fried chicken sandwich with pickles and honey. OMG. The combination of crispy chicken, pickles and that sweetness from the honey was SO GOOD. After traveling and arriving hungry in New York, that sandwich genuinely made my day. 😂❤

A couple of things were hit or miss, but I would absolutely come back for that chicken sandwich. That alone was worth the stop!“

“This restaurant has been in Whitestone for over 38 years and it’s a secret Gem the stuffed veal chop is enormous and it’s awesome the staff is really nice and the marinated steak is the best if in Whitestone it’s worth the trip“

“Had my husband’s surprise party this weekend. My family has had parties their in the past and Monahan’s continues to live up to their excellent reputation. The servers were so friendly, professional and engaging with our family…their personalities are perfect for their jobs….thank you so much. The food was outstanding….first time we had the stuffed mushroom and they were amazing. All our appetizers, The London broil, turkey and pasta salad were just perfect. My guests were very happy. “The restaurant has a area for sitting if you want to eat and another section if you want to drink at the bar. We had a nice lady who attended us and was quick with our orders. The food was pretty good. The mac and cheese was very cheesy. I thought it was cool they brought the burger with the toppings on the side so it didn’t get soggy and you can add it yourself after. The food is made fresh everyday so I recommend trying it out.“

“I first discovered Finnegans Wake in 1990 and it was and still is my favorite NY place. Those were the days, my friend. We thought they’d never end but I haven’t been back to NYC since 2013. I heard Ignatius passed and May he RIP and Frank, the best bartender must have retired. If not, please give him a shout out from his “California Girls , Maria and Kelly.“

“Watched NBA Finals Game 5 here and the atmosphere was unbelievable. The pub was packed with fans, creating an exciting and energetic crowd that made the game even more memorable. Great place to watch live sports, enjoy a drink, and soak up the lively pub atmosphere. Even if you're not there for a game, it's a fun spot with plenty of character and a welcoming vibe.“

“We had the best pre cruise visit since we were staying nearby at a hotel. Both bartenders were excellent and the regular customers! Made us “southerners” feel comfy and offered up ideas and suggestions of navigating the concrete jungle! If we ever return to NY, we will definitely be back. Awesome food! Awesome service! “Loved growing up learning about the San Patricios history. Now it’s celebrated in a restaurant! Nothing quite like eating ceviche, drinking a Smitchwicks, and listening to some great Irish folk songs. Loving the GAA wait staff uniforms too! Great service, great atmosphere and great food!“

“Fun hipster spot in the East Village. Saturday evening the place was busy but service was good. Had their Adobo rubbed wings and really good. The fish and chips were awesome and the best I've had ever anywhere. I'd go again in a jiffy.“

“I got chocolate chips pancake and turkey egg cheese with home fries. Sandwich was good, they added tomato sauce with mayo, so it all blend in together. The pancake was little disappointing as I had to eat it dry because didn’t provide any syrup. But it was soft and fresh. Would order here again.“

“Had a very nice dinner for my first time at Stout NYC Restaurant in New York City right by Madison Square Garden (MSG). Started off with this appetizer - Greek Style Shawarma Meatball Skewers with Lemon 🍋 Feta, Kalamata Olives 🫒 and Mint. For the Main Course I had Miso Citrus 🍊 Salmon 🍣 Along with Chicory 🥬 Kale and Apple 🍎 Salad 🥗 with Shaved Goat 🐐 Cheese 🧀, Pancetta, Candied Pecans, Apple Cider Vinaigrette. Oh yeah. The meal was slamming! By the way. Ran into two separate people that I know before leaving the restaurant. You can’t go no where in NYC without seeing somebody lol 😂. Nice spot to dine. #StoutNYC“

Her energy, personality, and attentiveness were truly second to none. She made us feel welcome the second we arrived and went above and beyond to make sure our entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. Her recommendations were fantastic, her timing was perfect, and she somehow managed to be attentive without ever being overbearing. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure her guests have a great time, and that kind of service is hard to come by these days. “I really wanted to love this place. The decoration and atmosphere are homey. The waitresses have been nice. The bangers and mash were good last time I went. But I've been here 3 times and really expected this to be a regular place for me. But I brought a new friend here and she didn't have a good experience.

We both ordered the brunch special and shared an appetizer. After bringing us our Mimosa and soda bread, a few minutes later we were told they were out of broccoli quiche and only had ham quiche. My friend didn't want ham so she changed to the mini sheapards pie.

The food was ok, her sheapards pie was ok, French onion soup was ok, my ham quiche wasn't good. It was greasy, over cooked, no flavor, I only had a few bites.

When the bill came my friend was charged 9.35 for her small mimosa. I asked for it to be taken off the bill because it wasn't our fault they didn't have the brunch item she ordered and she didn't want ham. The manager told our waitress no, that my friend changed her mind and didn't get the brunch so now she has to pay full price for the mimosa (but they didn't charge for her soda bread).

This should have been handled differently. They could have given her a discount, brunch, happy hour price. We never would have paid 9.35 for a mimosa and we do get them a lot at other brunch places. Or it should have been mentioned when she had to change her order that since they already brought her drink and bread so she should chose another brunch item or would be charged for the drink.

So we left feeling slighted, had to make an effort to forget it and have a nice day. But we were both annoyed. The Manager should have compromised since it wasn't our idea to get drinks first then change her order.

My friend will never go back and I'm bummed, I wanted to like the place so bad. We spent $88 on brunch for two and are always good, polite customers that take and post pics and always tip minimum 20 percent.“
