“Classic restaurant with a local atmosphere. Something outside the tourist area is worth the visit. The burgers and fries are very delicious and fast service. You have to pay in cash. If they are in Central Park with bikes you can pedal closer. There are sections of the route along bike paths.“

“My friends and I had a great time here! Out of the many skewers we tried, my favorites were the enoki mushrooms, lychee pork belly, and squid! We also tried a couple of their hot dishes—the Sichuan Popcorn Chicken and sautéed beef and onions (I forget the real name). The beef dish was perfect for some relief from the spiciness of the other food! We got Fried Milk for dessert which was fun to try again; I hadn’t had it in years.“

“Some friends and I came here on a hot summer evening. We hate this area to be completely honest but were fatigued and hangry due to the loathsome heat that violently reflected off of these damned buildings. My friend got a bourbon bacon burger and he said after one bite he was immediately transported back to a simpler time, before his parents were divorced. He ate the burger in 3 seconds and started crying tears of gratitude. The service was impeccable, they offered us a choice of regular, sparkling and even flat water! Not sure what that means but we got the regular water. Our waiter was rlly cool, bubbly and over exuberant! Very great waiter, he looked like his name was Sam. I got the pulled pork tacos which were like street tacos and they were very good. Overall great food, great service and cool fallout vault vibe style on 2nd floor which was a bit erotic but yea.“

“One of my favorite spots in Hell's Kitchen is this bar. The beer selection is impressive, and the ambiance is inviting, cozy, and lively. They play a mix of rock and pop music, and the TVs are usually tuned to baseball games. I’m particularly fond of their wheat beers and sours. While the food is delicious, I find it a bit on the pricey side.“

“Best cheesesteaks and wings certainly in the WV. Maybe anywhere in Manhattan. I get delivery often and always hot and tasty. The real way to experience is to tuck in and enjoy at the bar. Philly pride runs thick, but I wore a Mets cap and came out as a friend.“

“Bedford Falls is such a cool bar and I've never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent for a smaller bar / pub. The atmosphere for NY sports is second to none. I've been going to Bedford Falls for the NY Jets games but for any of the NY teams, you are sure to have a good time. Burger and tots and a beer is the way to go. See you all soon!“

“Eagle is a rare thing in the concrete jungle of NYC. I rarely see it. ? Eagle ? rare is one of my favorite whiskeys I tried a few years ago and like it a lot. Also Johnny and Evan William. I have a new whiskey drinker palette ? but I'm specific about what I like. Much more to discover and I know this is a place I can taste American brands to like.Nice place. Spacious and aerated with just the proper light for a cozy ambiance.Friendly staff. Kaitlyn went above and beyond to provide great service. I tried an eagle ? rare old fashion. We planned on only staying for a few appetizers & drinks and ended up staying for almost 3+ hours! We travel to Manhattan frequently and havent found a spot we would love to return to...until now! Highly recommended!“

“I had a lovely time here playing pool with friends and participating in the trivia. I noticed the bartender seemed to avoid eye contact with me, but I didn’t let it get me down. I still had a great time. The trivia questions were great, and the place seems to attract a lot of good vibes and good energy.“

“I'm a little late but I wanted to extend my utmost gratitude for the outstanding service that was shown to my bestfriend & I on Tuesday May 23rd 2023 by Chelsea who works as a waiter in your bar. From the moment we arrived, Chelsea greeted us all with a friendly smile, the service she provided was first class. Even when the bar got extremely busy, Chelsea never got flustered and showed total dedication and commitment to her duties and treated everyone to the same high standard of service whether it was for a group of people who were ordering 10 cocktails or to others ordering food Chelsea was excellent and on point! How Chelsea kept up her sense of humour, enthusiasm and energy levels is beyond my belief. Especially after the bar was packed from people whom left Seal's concert at the Beacon theater to grab drinks and a bite to eat. Although we saw other waiters throughout the night, she stood out. Chelsea truly is a credit to your bar grill establishment. She fully epitomises what 5 star service is all about! Please pass on our thanks to her once again and I hope you will be able to offer her some kind of accolade for her tremendous efforts in making my night out so enjoyable. “We had an engagement party in the speakeasy room downstairs. The staff was simply fantastic and they hosted a wonderful party. Katelyn the bartender was quick and efficient and kept everyone happy, Lexi the server helped us get organized pre party and Tony (securiity) kept the room secure from passersby trying to crash. Highly recommend the Gin Mill for a party.“

Always end up leaving with great memories and occasionally new friends owing to the intimate setting and inevitable striking up of conversations across the bar. The ricotta dip with bread is an excellent accompaniment to whiskey or hard liquor“
