“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks and if you like there is some seating outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and have a drink or two. I’d recommend stopping in when you’re in the area. A nice addition to the newly renovated, and ongoing, Harrison Station area.“

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“I have been going to Sonoma almost weekly for over a year now. It started off with taco Thursdays and their delicious margarita specials and has now turned into exploring every menu item possible. I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Incredibly delicious every single time. I am gluten intolerant which can pose challenges. The kitchen and staff have been amazing In accommodating my food allergy. I highly recommend Sonoma on any day of the week. It very quickly became my favorite go-to restaurants.“

“We’re regulars at the bar here. Always great food drink and service. That’s why I decided to have them cater and host our event at their “Picketts Upstairs” . We had a group of fifty. Spacious good looking room. Our own bar and bartender. Food was outstanding, not your typical buffet. And staff never let things run out. Hot and fresh until everyone was satisfied. Amazing service and quality. HIGHLY recommend Picketts!!“

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. “Solid sports bar with good wings. We ordered three traditional wing flavors: buffalo, O'Hara's special sweet and spicy, and parmesan garlic. The O'Hara special flavor was by far the favorite of the group. I would not order the artichoke dip again as it was quite watery and tasted about the same as a frozen option from the grocery store. Although they have a great beer menu I was disappointed that my two preferred beers were unavailable to order (Blue Moon and cold snap). All things considered, I'd come back for the wings and the sports bar atmosphere.“

“This is the dive bar that reminds you nobody does dive bars right anymore. I don't even drink and I go here for games just because the vibes are right. Also, the people complaining about the food are snobs. The food is good (especially the wings); it's a bar not a country club.“

Other bars right down the block plays music just as loud and stays open just as late. Besides the one incident last year, there aren’t any brawls or fights that happen there. Most ppl that go there are regulars and know each other. I been going to tankys for year and never had a bad experience. Occasionally the bartenders be too busy to get to me and I’ll get tired of waiting and leave but that’s all rare.“

The vibes have been frat bro and adults who still think they’re in frats each time I’ve been.

That being said, staffs always been nice and it does have a good social atmosphere where you can meet people / make new friends if you want.

“Decades ago, I ate at this location weekly when it was "Eddie's Long Bar". I visited Pour Abbey's a few times. The inside has been COMPLETELY changed for the better. The food is very good and the service excellent. I am not in the area often but will stop here when possible. Well Done!“
