“We had the butter chicken, cheese naan and whole pomfrit fish. The butter chicken was seasoned so well and the chicken was super tender. Probably the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the whole pomfrit and said it was seasoned and cooked well and slightly spicy. 10/10 recommend. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, gives mom and pop shop vibes.”

“I ordered for dinner the ribeye steak and onion rings. Cooked medium, the steak was flavorful; I did not need any sauce at all. The place was clean and the staff attentive (it was a Wednesday night).The bill, surprisingly, did not include gratuity or tip. You pay either by card (small charge additional) or cash. The "downsides" are: no parking lot for diners as you park on the sides of the Avenue. There is also no alcohol (wine, beer or cocktails) served. I will bring my family here and recommend to friends.”

I really wanted to love Tiam Tiam because the presentation is pretty good, but the execution was a bit inconsistent. On the plus side, the hospitality is top-notch; we loved the complimentary Taiwanese kimchi and dessert, and the portion sizes are generous

Pork Belly over Rice (4.25/5): The standout! It was packed with flavor, though on the oily side

Soft Shell Crab (3.5/5): The crab was well-prepared, but the avocado pairing muted the flavor, making it a bit bland

Taiwanese Fried Chicken over Rice (3/5): This was surprisingly sweet for a savory entree, which others may like that

Century Old Egg Tofu (2/5): A miss for me, it was served cold and the sauce pairing didn’t really work

We went on a Saturday and there was live music. The singer was very talented.

“I recently visited Sabor De Mi Pais Restaurant, and I had a great experience. As soon as you walk in, you are warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

They offer a wide variety of food options to choose from. I ordered white rice with pollo al horno and beans, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My coworker also loved their meal and said the food was amazing.

“The Vermella Bowl from EnjoyaBowls in Harrison, NJ is absolutely incredible. Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The fruit was super fresh and sweet, the toppings were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. You can really tell they care about quality.

One of my favorite things is how customizable it is. I love that I was able to add and remove items to make it exactly how I wanted — I added a couple extra toppings to mine and it came out perfect. That flexibility makes such a difference.

And the convenience? Unmatched. Being attached to my building makes it dangerously easy to grab one whenever I want something healthy, filling, and delicious.

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.”

“Great little bar near the PATH Station in Harrison. Located in the rear side of the Element Hotel on Somerset Street. Very nice atmosphere, friendly crowd and very friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks and if you like there is some seating outside the bar when the weather cooperates. I found it a nice place to stop and have a drink or two. I’d recommend stopping in when you’re in the area. A nice addition to the newly renovated, and ongoing, Harrison Station area.”

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.”

“O'Donnell's Pub has the best Guinness I've ever had. (And I have been to Ireland). Most places must use the wrong gases, or don't clean the beer lines and it taste almost grassy. Not a O'Donnell's. It is smooth and just fantastic.”

“This coffee shop and bakery is absolutely fabulous. I stopped in this morning and had an iced caramel coffee with a little vanilla and oat milk and it was so good. I’ve been a few times and the staff is always kind, welcoming, and professional. The empanadas are delicious and I love the light, crispy breading, it reminds me of a Chinese fried pastry. The space is quaint and peaceful, and you can really feel the care behind this business. I truly hope to see them grow and open more locations in the future.”

“Absolutely incredible experience! The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every dish had that perfect balance of seasoning that Peruvian cuisine is known for. The ceviche was bright and delicious, the lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were out of this world.

The service was fast, warm, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and had a great atmosphere.

“The coffees were strong and tasty. The avocado toast was well made with a nice side salad. Parking could be an issue but we went a Sunday morning and we found parking with no problem. It is inside the apartment complex but it had lots of areas to sit in. Our food and drinks came pretty quickly, even though it was busy.”

“I have been there 4 times , and never had a bad meal . Meatballs were large , moist and tasty , and stuffed mushrooms were excellent . The only thing I suggest is a BIGGER plate for the salad , that was also very good .”
