“Even though the lady asked if we speak Spanish, it was still a fun experience. I used Google to help me a bit, but my old brain does remember numbers at least. There's also a sign written in Spanish that most likely says exact change or cards only please. There's alot of dessert options which I would have loved to dig into, but I didn't want to go crazy before race day. I settled for churros instead, which appears to have some cream inside. My dad got tamales and mom got beet juice (gross).“

The proprieters are Chilean, friendly people. order at the counter place, good for a light breakfast. “Customer service is always fast paced and the ladies that serve are super polite and helpful. This deli is wonderful for a quick breakfast or lunch, plus its well maintained. “They are the GOAT of Hoboken Hoagies. Their fresh made daily roast beef and mozzarella sandwich is unbeatable. I've been looking forward to a sandwich every time someone says Hoboken for over 30 years. My dad used to bring them home as a treat when we were kids. They are just as good as they ever were. “Food was so good. We had 2 Tacos de Birrias, 2 Tacos Al Pastor, and 4 Tacos Jalapeños. I loved the Al Pastor and my husband loved the Jalapeños. It's a small place, but so clean. There were only two people behind the counter, but they were so courteous and you could tell take pride in the food they make. We also drank El jugo de tamarindo and it was perfect. Not too sweet, not too bitter. We went there strictly because of their high rating online, and they deserve every star they have.“

The sandwiches were great as usual, but the hot foods like sausage peppers and onions, meatballs and sauce, chicken parm were all equally delish.. all the guests agreed... can't go wrong with Hinze's“
