“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

“I went to this place in a clutch. Wanted some food and a drink after a late show at NJPAC in Newark after midnight. It is bar food; jalapeño poppers, wings, burger, etc but very good. The bartender was courteous and despite it appeared most patrons were usuals, we were treated well being it was a first time for us there.“

“Jeff made us feel at home! I originally came in from Brooklyn, NY to come visit a friend out in Jersey! My first time here felt like I’ve been here before. Jeff recommended some special sauces to us for the wings and it stands out compared to other places. We allowed us to taste test a hot sauce, which wasn’t just hot, but flavorful as well! He held wonderful conversations with us and was able to relate to us in a lot of ways. His engagement made us want to come back! I’ll be here once again if I find myself around town again. The experience was simply amazing. Every table was taken so we waited a few minutes and we were so glad that we did. We had been greeted by the owner and he quickly sat us when a table became available because I had expressed concerns about being on time for the performance. We each ordered a different meal and each of us raved about our selections all evening. I had the lamb burger and it was one of the best I have ever eaten: crispy with a lovely juicy interior. “The service it’s the first thing I want to highlight Amhar was really friendly and attentive oyster were really tasty and fresh I was expecting more on the quality of the Chardonnay and cremant they had by the glass but they were okey and finally I want to suggest better ice for digestive or cocktails at the restaurant maybe big rocks or kold draft I also ordered a digestive which I specify to make an amaretto sour and add a little rye whiskey and they charge me 32 dollars for the drink I didn’t want more alcohol I just wanted my drink not to be as sweet as the amaretto next time I will try to be more specific“

The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktail specials (and a good variety of each). Service is friendly and your meal will likely be cooked and/or served by the the owning family.“

“Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“

“Joined a couples of friends at the Bar for the late night happy hour. My server Tamyra was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure our stay top notch. The bartender Dre was very attentive to our needs and the manager Chad came around to make sure everything was going well. The food was good but the drinks were even better and the late night happy prices were even better. I met the manager Ora on Wine Wednesdays, where certain bottles of wine are half price and she promised to carry more bottles of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Food was better than I expected but we were not there for the food. We were there for the spectacle and show. Medieval Times delivered.
