“Joined a couples of friends at the Bar for the late night happy hour. My server Tamyra was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure our stay top notch. The bartender Dre was very attentive to our needs and the manager Chad came around to make sure everything was going well. The food was good but the drinks were even better and the late night happy prices were even better. I met the manager Ora on Wine Wednesdays, where certain bottles of wine are half price and she promised to carry more bottles of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. I did visit during a relatively quiet time, but my food took a long time to arrive. Since I don't drink alcohol, the wait was a little tedious and made me hungry.

We started with the baked clams, which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. The bar pie was exactly what you want from a classic Jersey tavern pie—thin, crispy, and packed with flavor.
For mains, the steak with shrimp scampi was outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp scampi added that rich, buttery garlic flavor that made the whole dish stand out. The Drunken Onion Burger was another highlight—juicy, loaded with caramelized onions, and just downright satisfying. The owner even came out with some of their dessert options to try which ended the night perfectly.

“Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“
