“We love Colonial Diner and have been going there for years. They have the best food and best staff, along with an amazing atmosphere. My three year old asks to go there for practically every meal and we are always greeted like family when we walk through the door. This is the best diner I’ve ever been to. “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Absolutely the best food in NYC we finally got a bar seat this past Saturday was in the city for pride we have been trying for years everything was spot on crysathenn salad, the stuffed flatbread and lasagna and cocoa tiramisu“

“Nudibranch was outstanding—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We started with the mushrooms, chicken sandwich, and cavatelli, then had the Denver steak and monkfish as our mains, with scallion pancakes on the side for three people. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and exceptionally well executed.

The chefs are Momofuku alumni, and you can feel that influence in the bold flavors and inventive combinations. Man, I miss Momofuku—but Nudibranch definitely scratched that itch while still feeling entirely like its own thing.

I loved them because they were easy to reserve for a large party and didn’t give me headache at all, where as a lot of NYC restaurants can get annoying if you’re a party of 8+. Their food was very good, fig parfait- amazing! Def order that! Espresso was europe level game, other brunch items were really flavorful and delicious!“

“This was my second time at Blue Hill, although my last visit was several years ago before they moved to the Family Meal concept. And I really like it. Each course comes with an assortment of dishes that you can mix and match at your own pace, which makes the whole meal feel relaxed and fun.

I sat at the bar, and both the atmosphere and service were excellent as always. Every course was fantastic, and this is such a great time of year to visit when there are so many amazing vegetables in season. One course highlighted several different peppers, including a specially developed habanero that had all of the sweetness and none of the heat. Really cool! The dessert was really interesting as well as it incorporated Sungold tomatoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had tomatoes in a dessert before, but it was inspired and worked beautifully. A fantastic dinner. I’ll definitely be returning.“

“Such a great hidden spot. Good for drinks/ date or business dinner. Overstory is amazing, but this place is a bit less fuss, while still being great. Especially if it's not great weather for a good view- I like Crown Shy better in winter.

Service can be slow during peak times, but food was good. Book reservations for a table (pretty standard at this type of place.)“

“NYC classic spot. Came solo on a weekday afternoon. I was able to get a seat by the bar in 15 mins. The staff is friendly & it was a full house. My burger came out pretty quickly and the food was delicious and a very generous portion. I would have skipped the drink for a soda instead. Overall I can’t wait to come back again and try the rest of their menu.“

“What a treat to stumble upon Parker & Quinn! It was an intimate atmosphere and a perfect night for me and my 10-year-old daughter. The kids’ menu was so good (the pasta was homemade and so delicious that I had to enjoy a few bites!), and my margarita flatbread was incredible. Great service from our server and another gentleman (the manager?) who came over multiple times to check on us. I highly recommend you check this out if you’re looking for something away from the hustle and bustle and generic nature of Timed Square. Chef’s kiss!“

“this place was gorgeous! To be honest I’m not a fan of the furniture because not only is the price outrageous but the furniture is not my color scheme. But I always wanted to eat at this restaurant. It’s very pretty upstairs with the chandeliers and the greenery. The bathroom is very clean and gorgeous. I sat inside because it was really hot yesterday. The booth is very comfortable. I just had the smashed avocado toast. They use a whole avocado for this. It’s almost like it’s a little too much avocado? But I ate most of it. I think half avocado would suffice. It’s also got a little bit of an expensive price tag but it was the only thing I really wanted on the menu. Service was very friendly as well.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“

“Such a great place! Solid menu, excellent craft drinks, friendly staff. We both had beef filet that was cooked to our exact specifications. I had a nice girly drink which was an enhanced Pina Colada. (Required extreme self control to stop at one.) All the desserts sounded great, and I really enjoyed my bread pudding (the very generous serving size was a surprise). You will really be pleased with your dining experience at The Henry!“
