“Caught up with a friend for drinks and dinner...the place is quaint, with a great, lively vibe. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Linda, one of the bartenders. She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. The live music was fabulous, with a great mix of classic hits performed by very talented musicians. We opted not to get dessert and left with our bellies full and our hearts content. Parking was a little bit of a challenge with it being a Saturday night, but Linda informed us to use the VFW parking lot the next time around. Can't wait to check out Karaoke night on Wednesdays. I was having so much fun that I forgot to take photos.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Great food, great Guinness, great vibes! Wolfe Tone's was absolutely FABULOUS on Marathon Sunday! Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

“There is something very very cool about The Wren. I hate to admit it but we were those last two patrons who wanted a drink before heading out and the Wren I had been to before. They did not need to seat us but they did and even though it was 10 minute stay at the bar and because we care about people it was an order-and-pay kinda thing. “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

Everything was good, but I'm not sure it was really worth the price. When this was a neighborhood spot and the prices matched (if that was ever the case), I could see it making a lot more sense. But at these prices, I don't think it maths. Nothing wrong with the food, but also not the best of anything I've ever had.“

The food was very good … had the “Irish Spice Bag” … creative dish with chicken, hand-cut French fries, peppers and onions, and spices … something different ($20).

The service was very good as well … very nice and kind bartender taking care of the whole place … so need to be reasonably patient.

The atmosphere is nice enough. Nice vibe.

Everything from organizing the event with the very helpful manager Eoin, to the delish food platters, the stunning event space and the lovely bartender Scott who made sure everyone’s drinks were flowing. “My girlfriend and I went here on Saturday it was a great experience and we both had a lot of fun. We arrived a little early before our scheduled start. The atmosphere was awesome! We sat at the bar for about a half hour and we each got a drink while we waited for our game to start. My girlfriend had Lime in the Coconut Collins and I had Paradise Love. Both drinks were good. They have a very easy to use coat check too. There are a total of 9 courses and each one is unique making for an exciting game of indoor mini golf! There are also servers who walk around and take your drink order and plentiful of convenient stations to set your drinks on while you play and wait for the party ahead of you.“
