“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

And always seems to be very overcooked or undercooked to the point that it's inedible. I really hope they bring back the old ingredients because it used to be my fav dish to order!“

“A fun place with interesting people watching but I came alone hoping to sit at the bar and was expecting and comfortable with waiting for an hour since it was as a Saturday (it was 6pm but that wasn’t early enough), but they were not sitting solo diners and instead would wait for seats next to each other to open up to sit couples, at one point leaving and open seat available for about 20 minutes.“

Rick is the man and has a vast knowledge of both beer served here as well as the brewing industry itself.

Would love to come back and try the endless other beers that sounded great but will have to wait for next time. The beers are pricey but it’s manhattan what are you gonna do 🤷. It’s a cool spot if you’re nearby try it out.“

We had karage, seared scallops, quail eggs, tofu dashi, pork shabu, yellow tail and salmon sashimi and they were all yummy and authentic. The bar’s design is cool including an old nintendo display and cute Japanese manga stuff reminding us of Tokyo (we visited Japan a few rimes). The founders (the Chos) were friendly and attentive (they are husband and wife)! So happy to see them in their own establishment since we also like the Sake Bar Decibel (they are the alums).“

It’s not got a lot of seating and the size and shape of the bar means it can be difficult to move around and get to the washroom, but it’s a high quality beer bar with a great list.
