We sat at the bar and enjoyed our conversation with her along with some of the specials and recommendations for the night. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so delicious and comforting. “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“I stopped in yesterday with my girlfriends as a trio exactly at 5pm and we were able to get a booth. I loved the cute decor. 90s music and relaxed atmosphere. The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). “There is something very very cool about The Wren. I hate to admit it but we were those last two patrons who wanted a drink before heading out and the Wren I had been to before. They did not need to seat us but they did and even though it was 10 minute stay at the bar and because we care about people it was an order-and-pay kinda thing. We were here maybe 7 minutes but we wanted to let you know this kind of embracing is why New York is very kind, cool and heartfelt. We cashed out and left but we really appreciated it. “I can’t believe we’re only finding this spot now. Tara Mor is officially a new favorite for us.

We hosted a corporate Paint by the Pints event here after a friend recommended we check it out, and we were genuinely blown away by every part of the experience. The private spaces are perfect for events, and we were in the Record Room decorating vinyl records for the night’s activity. The space felt custom-made for our activity.

Planning with Steph and the team was completely seamless. They were on top of every detail, so helpful from start to finish, and made the whole process easy. On the day of the event, the staff were lovely, not only with our team, but with all of our guests too.

We also pre-ordered from the platter menu, and the food was incredible. The quality was excellent, the portions were generous, and everything went down so well. The sliders were genuinely dreamy. The real sign of how good the food was? Guests were delighted to take leftovers home for lunch the next day, so the staff helped us with to-go boxes and we packed up sandwiches and salads. There was so much food, and none of it went to waste.

A special shoutout to Caoilfhionn, Jason, Kaitlin, Moyra, and the rest of the Tara Mor team for being so attentive and helpful throughout the event, including jumping in with tech support to make sure all of our computers were connected ahead of time.

All in all, we cannot wait to return. Tara Mor feels like a new home away from home in the heart of New York City, just a short walk from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and everything else nearby. Highly recommend for private events, corporate gatherings, or honestly just a great night out.“

“A few years back, friends of mine took me here, and it remains one of the most impressive speakeasy experiences I’ve had. Every time I’m in New York, I make a point to carve out time for it.

“It was our first visit to this lively and intimate sake bar last night. They have a wide variety of sake and delicious Izakaya dishes. We had karage, seared scallops, quail eggs, tofu dashi, pork shabu, yellow tail and salmon sashimi and they were all yummy and authentic. The bar’s design is cool including an old nintendo display and cute Japanese manga stuff reminding us of Tokyo (we visited Japan a few rimes). The founders (the Chos) were friendly and attentive (they are husband and wife)! So happy to see them in their own establishment since we also like the Sake Bar Decibel (they are the alums).“
