“I was recently in New Jersey for a concert and staying at a hotel for a few nights. My friend and I were looking for a quick bite to eat nearby. We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re ever in the area go there and get the Jack Daniels burger. Talk to the locals. Have a pint and enjoy the vibes. 5/5. 10/10. Incredible.“

“Kelly’s Tavern in Bay Ridge has been holding it down since 1932—so yes, Papa Kenny, you’re in one of the oldest and most classic bars in the neighborhood, and it doesn’t get much more Brooklyn than this. “I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely host future events here.“

“Great food. Tiny place and if you go late on certain days you may not get a table. Staff is hit or miss. One day I witnessed three young girls working there standing behind the bar talking to each other and on their phones rather then tending to the customers. I do have to give support to the one young lady who eventually had to run the whole place herself till someone came to cover the bar. They should always have more than one person working the main dining area. If you want a good bar pie come here.“

“Atmosphere was great, super chill and perfect for a casual night out. Callie, I hope I got her name right, did a wonderful job. She was working as both the bartender and our server and handled everything so smoothly. You could tell she was busy but still stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. The drinks were amazing too. Definitely a good spot for casual drinks with friends.

Unfortunately, the steak wasn’t our favorite. Me and my girls all ordered it and it was very hard to chew (cooked medium) and could have used more seasoning :/ That said, the fries that came with it were amazinggg.

Overall, I would definitely come back for the drinks and the vibe.“

We ordered the fries and 2 rounds of beers and the check was super reasonable. We will definitely be back when it is nicer out to sit outside. “I was made to feel very uncomfortable here. Too many people/strangers asking personal questions. Don’t know why the whole bar wanted to know where I was from. Then a peculiar man kept saying “she’s from Jersey city” to the whole bar. I was then told to “be careful here” by one of the customers. Some other odd things were said to me so I decided to leave. The pizza reminded me of something you get at a carnival. The wings are tiny and hard. Although she was quick with service I noticed the bartender never made eye contact with me and after awhile it seemed on purpose. I do not recommend this bar, not sure why it suggests that above when I clicked NO several times. Really cold beer is all they have to offer.“
