“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

We decided to go to this place on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The atmosphere was incredible. Everyone in there was so cool and the bartender was fantastic and very helpful. She recommended the Jack Daniels burger so we both went with it. When I tell you we both dreamed about this burger for our entire trip. We ended up going back to this place two more times. It was such a great local place with great people. I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re ever in the area go there and get the Jack Daniels burger. Talk to the locals. Have a pint and enjoy the vibes. 5/5. 10/10. Incredible.“

“This is my first time visiting room 990 and when I will tell you is, they have the best chicken wings I’ve ever experience. Boucher, the bartender was very attentive and MICHELLE who also works there, but was just there to have a drink was very accommodating a highly recommends. “Caught up with a friend for drinks and dinner...the place is quaint, with a great, lively vibe. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Linda, one of the bartenders. She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. The live music was fabulous, with a great mix of classic hits performed by very talented musicians. We opted not to get dessert and left with our bellies full and our hearts content. Parking was a little bit of a challenge with it being a Saturday night, but Linda informed us to use the VFW parking lot the next time around. Can't wait to check out Karaoke night on Wednesdays. I was having so much fun that I forgot to take photos.“

“The Scots American Club is by far the best place this side of the Atlantic - to go for any Scottish events or if you're Scottish - just to drop by. They care about the culture, football and they will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. I wish all American bars (even if clubs) are like this one. The workers and owners are all fantastic and made this Scottish person feel welcome in a foreign land.

“Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. “My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. “This was a night and place we never expected. I kept seeing pictures on Social Media from the Bar Gal CHA CHA. It just always sounded fun. Tonight we went! We had the popular COWBOY CALAMARI, WOW it was so good! My husband had the chicken parm and I had a rib eye. IT WAS HUGE! Cooked perfect and came out hot.
