Used to be a welcoming and light-hearted place for a quick cocktail at exorbitant prices. Has now turned into a political theater where one gets preached to by insular Gen Z'ers with little concept of what life is outside NY or liberal enclaves. Come for a cocktail.... stay for the politics.
Always promised myself on my next trip to NYC I would go to The Dead Rabbit. I am so pleased I got to do it. The staff the cocktails the food and the decor & cleanliness were A1. Loved the welcome my friend and I got, (even when we were a bit late for our booking) throughout the service from the fabulous servers. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bloody brilliant 👏
Great spot and one of the best pints of Guinness in the City. Stop in any time I visit Manhattan.

The Dead Rabbit is a great place to visit. The restaurant has live music, and people come for the Irish coffee and Sunday Prime Rib Roast. The dinner portions are large, and the service is good, but can be slow when the place is packed. The Sunday special is huge and popular, and the cocktails are great. Some customers miss the chicken pot pie, which is no longer on the menu. The Dingle Pie is available, but it is not the same. The bar has a classic Irish pub atmosphere and great drinks. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly. The vibe is fun, and the food is pretty good. The Scotch egg is a popular dish, but the sausage can be a bit dry. Overall, The Dead Rabbit is a great bar in the financial district and one of the best in NYC.
