Nara Sushi delivers a good dining experience with plenty of potential to be even better. The food was enjoyable, and while I think there’s still room to elevate a few dishes, the overall quality left a positive impression. What stood out most was the staff—they were consistently respectful, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Nara Sushi/Kumo is a nice old school Japanese sushi restaurant in the heart of fidi. It is a hole in the wall spot with limited seating and non stop takeout orders. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and ready to serve as fast as they can. The sushi is fresh and well-prepared, with clean flavors and nice presentation. The menu offers good variety. Prices are really reasonable and the quality/price is the best bargain in the city. The happy hour specials are a great deal. Specific meals include the VLAD Roll (Eel, cream cheese, and eel sauce), Beef Teriyaki Bentonville lunch box, spicy tuna roll, house green tea, and two rolls of shrimp tempura with miso soup. The atmosphere is relaxed. A solid choice for a casual sushi meal.
