On my way back to the hotel after work in the evening hours on a Thursday night, I noticed Pranzo Pizza & Pasta on my way to the seaport area on water street. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, the owner greeted me with a welcoming "hello" and had asked if I had any questions on the menu. "Hey, brother" was the friendly greeting I got from the man that I took to be the owner. I wanted a slice of genuine NYC for lunch and I got it.I ordered a calzone and diet coke. Simple but tasty. Good prices and I expect I could have had more traditional fare but I was in a rush.Lots of blue collar workers in there, male and female, gives an indication of good value.

I'd never been to New York, just knew that y'all were snobs about pizza. Came here, and, WOW! That snobbery is well deserved! I still haven't found a 'za in Colorado that even comes close. Simply delicious!
