“Visited on Tuesday evening quite late and had such an amazing experience at Osteria Nonnino. We shared a pizza to start, followed by fish and the vodka pasta for mains – every dish was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish. The food was honestly second to none. Such a hidden gem, would highly recommend to anyone in NYC.“

“We had a great experience learning how to make pasta! The food was so delicious. This would be something fun to do with a group or family members. Our waiter Mica was fantastic as well as the chef who taught us Anthony. Thanks guys for a fun night in NYC!“

“Wonderful dinner from start to finish. We had the pleasure of being served by Ramos, who was attentive, affable, and awesome. We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s - steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.“

“Absolutely loved everything about this place! The food was excellent, but I have to give a special shoutout to the pasta because it was genuinely AMAZING!! seriously one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The prices were also really reasonable, which made the experience even better.
The place itself is also so comfortable, with such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely come back without thinking twice! And Xavier was the sweetest and most attentive, he truly made sure I had a great experience. Amazing food, great service, fair prices, and such a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Came here to watch the world cup final since every other bar on our route was full. We got here just in time to get some seats. Pizza and beer were good. We wanted garlic knots but they were out so we got a discount on a bag of chips. Overall, glad we ended up here.“

“The vodka pasta with grilled chicken is amazing. I also tried the pesto pasta with sausage and it is just as good. The mozzarella sticks are excellent too, they come with two flavorful homemade sauces. The buffalo wings are a must-order; the sauces are perfectly balanced. Not only is their food really good, but their portions are also very generous. Their pizza is great, but I recommend giving the other items on the menu a try! The staff is also super friendly with great customer service.“

“Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to an empty shop. It looked like no one was there with pots full of half cooked gnocchi in sauce and not a sound or anyone to be seen. After a minute or so someone finally came around the corner as we were about to leave. She took our order and then proceeded to turn on the stove to get the water boiling and put in some fresh gnocchi. She then turned on one of the other pots that was partially filled with sauce and gnocchi that was sitting there cold. She barely said a word to us aside from our order total and in between moments of uncomfortable silence she spoke as if she was on the phone with someone and noticed an airpod in her ear. After a minute or two, to our surprise, she stirred both pots, scooped in some fresh gnocchi to the old, then proceeded to scoop the mixed batch in to a container and handed it to us. By that point our expectations were pretty low as we left but, thankfully, the pasta was delicious! Expecting partially cooked pasta we were pleasantly surprised that it was not. Really wish I experience matched the food but all in all it was worth the stop and we were happy we did. I would definitely come back but maybe visit a different location next time.“

“I’ve visited New York only five times, but my ex-wife grew up in the city.
After striking out with several disappointing pizza places I chose at random, I asked her where I should go. This was her top recommendation, and she was spot-on.
Excellent slice, fun staff, and easily the best pizza I had on the trip.“
“Loved the freshly made Sandwiches. Rather enjoyed the authentic taste, coming from almost 100 years of tradition.“

“I had a great experience at iPizzaNY! The pizza is absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy crust with fresh, flavorful ingredients that really stand out. You can tell they care about quality. What I also love is that they’re not just about pizza. In the mornings, they serve tasty bagel sandwiches, and for lunch, their soups are a great option, especially if you’re looking for something warm and comforting. The service is quick, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, and the location is super convenient.
Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area!“

“Orion Diner & Grill is exactly what a classic NYC diner should be. The menu is massive, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is always fast and friendly. Whether you're stopping in for a massive breakfast combo, a killer burger, or their amazing matzo ball soup, they never disappoint. It’s clean, comfortable, and always hits the spot. “Now this is Harlem pizza I can get behind. Beautiful quality cheese, sauce, & crust make a highly satisfying regular slice, w/ a sausage slice for good measure & additional flavor. I wouldn't doubt if Trufa was about as well esteemed as Patsy's! I must admit that I'd walked past this place several times before noticing it.“
“If I could give Amuse 10 stars I would. The drinks are stellar, but the staff really make it. Cate, Amy, Brian, Guillermo, and the team provide impeccable service. They’re efficient, considerate, and sociable. The espresso martini is out of this world. I’m a local and I’m a regular. Whether you’re visiting the city or just passing through midtown, the open yet cozy ambiance of Amuse is an ideal reprieve from the city.“

“Had the full Chef's Tasting Menu Experience. Brando was just amazing with how he guided us linguistically through a epicurean tour of the many Italian regions that inspired the menu. He and the entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome to come back again. We certainly will.“

“Put cement in your shoes bc this place will knock ur socks off. A little taste of italy in the heart of west village. My biggest regret is not having time or the group size to taste more things.
Pros:
- Piping hot pasta dishes, served al dente, bursting w flavor. If you are allergic to flavor you might have a heart attack
- fantastic cocktails and happy hour
- friendly service. My daughter was treated like royalty (swinging bench, shirley temple, smiles)
- clean bathroom. If your a kitchen confidential person, you know what this means
- affordable price. I don’t remember exactly what, but no mugging happened and that’s rare in NYC
- not that crowded (went weekday 5:30 though)
Ideas to consider
- if the red wines were slightly more chilled (not room temp), some people might like even more
- I can’t think of anything else. The best pesto pasta I’ve had in many years, if not ever“
