“Visited on Tuesday evening quite late and had such an amazing experience at Osteria Nonnino. We shared a pizza to start, followed by fish and the vodka pasta for mains – every dish was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish. The food was honestly second to none. Such a hidden gem, would highly recommend to anyone in NYC.“

“Wonderful dinner from start to finish. We had the pleasure of being served by Ramos, who was attentive, affable, and awesome. We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s - steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.“

“My daughter has been a fan of the alphabet pasta here since she started eating solid foods! I am a fan of the pumpkin ravioli and always check the case to see what’s new for the season. #itsallgood“

“How has Dave Portnoy not reviewed this yet?! It was amazing. Like this is what I expect from all NYC pizza.
I noticed the sign in the front of the store was a screenshot of a Gemini summarization. 1. Interesting marketing, but free and straight to the point so kudos to them. 2. Lots of AI ads in the city but they thought outside of the box by using AI still without a Seed A AI enterprise solution start up company, kudos again!“

“We had a great experience learning how to make pasta! The food was so delicious. This would be something fun to do with a group or family members. Our waiter Mica was fantastic as well as the chef who taught us Anthony. Thanks guys for a fun night in NYC!“

“Freaking amazing. Imagine Benihana with pasta and at a good price. You get a show and a delicious plate of pasta. My wife who doesn't even like pasta enjoyed it.
Also not sure why didn't this place come up when I searched for Italian food while seated across the street in the park. But if you are reading this, it is worth a visit.“

“The food came out quickly but didn’t taste it. The pasta tasted fresh, just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crispy chicken cutlet was kinda small for the past portion but was still really good. Not very cold compared to the weather outside but comfortable seating and nice atmosphere.“

“This place is probably the best slice of pizza 🍕 in NYC! 🗽 NAPOLI PIZZA on 6th Ave near BRYANT PARK and TIMES SQUARE is a must-visit pitstop 🚏 on your next trip to the City! 🏙️ This iconic spot serves delicious 🤤 pizza by slice or pie - definitely try their cheese 🧀 slice! They serve halal food as well. Lines are long sometimes but service is quick ⏲️ and the staff 👨🍳 is super friendly! There's limited seating 🪑 so be prepared to dine quickly.“

“The vodka pasta with grilled chicken is amazing. I also tried the pesto pasta with sausage and it is just as good. The mozzarella sticks are excellent too, they come with two flavorful homemade sauces. The buffalo wings are a must-order; the sauces are perfectly balanced. Not only is their food really good, but their portions are also very generous. Their pizza is great, but I recommend giving the other items on the menu a try! The staff is also super friendly with great customer service.“

“TL;DR version: Stick with the basic pies. There's also a good nonna/grandma slice. Any slice with a lot of toppings will be on a much thicker base, which is a bit too doughy.
This is a pizza place that's been around for a while. They used to have only the main storefront, but I believe, based on the sign and the menu, that they own Fresh Basil's Trattoria next door, which used to be a Johnny Rockets and most recently, a diner specializing in seafood. Speaking of that trattoria, they do sell a lot of Italian-American classics, such as pasta and other related dishes, but I would recommend sticking with the pizza here.
I've been here almost every time for lunch because they have a reasonably priced lunch special that includes two slices and a fountain drink. It used to be $7.50 for two plain, or for an extra 50¢, two Sicilians. This then went up by a dollar to $8.50 or $9, and as of the most recent, I believe it's $9 for either choice. They also added, at one point or another, a combination of any slice of pizza and a selection of 1 salad, including Caesar, Tricolore, House Garden, and Della Cassa, if I recall correctly, for $12. For all these combos, you can pay tax-free if you pay in cash. They were also serving Chicken Parmesan for $15.95 or $16.95 as one of their lunch specials, which didn't look right for take-out but tasted pretty solid with an OK vodka sauce, and it was a very large portion for that price point.
As you can imagine from the special, I've mostly stuck with the two plain slices, though I'm tempted to do the salad special another day. The plain slice is the best idea, with a thin crust, a mild chew, and just enough color on the bottom. The tomato sauce is the highlight here, not overly sweet, and with good brightness and acidity. There is also plenty of cheese, but not too much that it feels too heavy.
If you are going to get a non-plain slice, I would recommend their Grandma. It's an excellent version that highlights their tomato sauce, which isn't overly sweet and is pretty bright and acidic. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend slices with a bunch of toppings like the Angry Nonna or mushroom and spinach, as the dough is much thicker. I presume this is to keep the slice from falling apart, but I find the latter slices a bit too doughy, which reminds me a little bit of the terrible chain pizza place up the block, Little Italy Pizza. If you need a unique slice and don't mind some doughiness, the Pestorita isn't bad either, available with or without pepperoni.
While definitely not my favorite pie I've ever had, it's a good standard pizza and a prototypical NYC plain slice. During weekdays, they are crowded during lunch for a good reason. It is certainly better than most generic slices, and this rings especially true in this bad neighborhood for slices, but I wouldn't go out of my way if you have another good pie nearby.“

“I had a great experience at iPizzaNY! The pizza is absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy crust with fresh, flavorful ingredients that really stand out. You can tell they care about quality. What I also love is that they’re not just about pizza. In the mornings, they serve tasty bagel sandwiches, and for lunch, their soups are a great option, especially if you’re looking for something warm and comforting. The service is quick, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, and the location is super convenient.
Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area!“

“If I could give Amuse 10 stars I would. The drinks are stellar, but the staff really make it. Cate, Amy, Brian, Guillermo, and the team provide impeccable service. They’re efficient, considerate, and sociable. The espresso martini is out of this world. I’m a local and I’m a regular. Whether you’re visiting the city or just passing through midtown, the open yet cozy ambiance of Amuse is an ideal reprieve from the city.“

“Now this is Harlem pizza I can get behind. Beautiful quality cheese, sauce, & crust make a highly satisfying regular slice, w/ a sausage slice for good measure & additional flavor. I wouldn't doubt if Trufa was about as well esteemed as Patsy's! I must admit that I'd walked past this place several times before noticing it.“

“I took the basil pasta to go, they also have cacio e pepe as a to go option. It comes in a small box (I took the picture after I ate half of it already).
It’s made freshly right after you placed your order and then you can watch the cook through a big window. It’s superb! Really delicious and keeps you full for a really long time. You can order extra Parmesan if you like. The staff is friendly and kind.“

“This place is amazing the food is so authentic and filled with flavor, BUT I WITNESSED THE PREP COOK, he wears glasses directly in front of the bar counter. He met a female customer in the bathroom they were gone for at least 5 to 8 minutes together. It’s sad because this behavior would stop me from visiting this place with my family. He needs to be gone this is not a brothel to be intimate with customers. It turns out the female works across the street from the restaurant. Food is great but he just makes me and my wife very uncomfortable“
