I have been going to this store for years! Now located in the lower level of shops at Chelsea Market. They sell ready made food, scrumptious desserts and many Italian items you need to cook and serve your Italian meal!
Buon’Italia is such a cute Italian grocery shop in Chelsea Market! There is such an amazing variety of foods, and I was impressed with how clean and well-organized it was. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I visited on a Saturday, and it was a great experience. It was easy to shop around the store and wasn’t overly crowded. I highly recommend Buon’Italia!
I tried buon ‘ italia yesterday after boldly trying the latest hot sauces at the hot ones outpost across the way and needed some immediate relief, I asked for gelato and learned it was only available as an affogato, none the less it was delicious! and hit the spot! the gelato was smooth and creamy and the espresso shot that was pulled was smooth and not overpowering at all , a dream affogato to be honest!

Buon'Italia is a wonderful Italian delicatessen located in the basement of the Chelsea Market. The store is well-stocked with a wide range of Italian delicacies, including wine, pasta, oil, cold cuts, and more. Visitors can find everything they need to bring a taste of Italy home, like freshly made meals they toast and nice Italian dishes. The lemon pesto knot pasta is to die for, and the arancini rice ball was delicious. The dessert selection is amazing, with gorgeous marzipan fruits and cherry nougat. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, giving great recommendations. With top-notch products and exceptional service, Buon'Italia is a must-visit destination for Italian food lovers.
