“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

They present the perfectly cooked steak to you and then expertly slice it. Bonus, the bone marrow is included and tastes like meat butter. It says for 2 but can easily feed 3.“

I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! I was able to sit outside with my dog. The drink menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of craft cocktails, local brews, and fine spirits. We went at 4:30 on a weekday for a business drink and it was quiet for 30 mins til the after work happy hour crowd filled up. Fun vibe and views regardless. One thing that we didn’t appreciate was the sneaky 20% gratuity added to the bill so beware before you tap the 7%, 5%, or 3% tip option on the payment screen. You’ll be paying a 27%, 25%, or 23% tip if you do. While the auto tip addition is noted on the menu (the bartender explained), it’s easy to miss. The on-screen bill you sign omits that important info. Not cool.“

One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. However, the service is underwhelmed. 5-6 servers and they had to do like section or assignment based. You just couldnt find the assigned server, yet always 4 servers right around the corner.
