The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“My family and I were so impressed with Minetta’s. We came for the food and history and left feeling like we just had one of the best nights in New York. Our waiter was spot-on excellent, quick, concerned, and at the ready for anything our group needed. Every dish was wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer and had yet another course, but we split due to theater plans. This wasn’t our first trip to Minetta’s and won’t be our last.“

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“

“Honestly the design of the place is beautiful. It’s in the cut but when you walk in you wouldn’t imagine what you see. I got the bottomless mimosa special that comes with an entree which was good. Derek was such a pleasure to work with in the weeks before our big day and he and the entire staff took such great care of us and our family and friends post-race! They truly went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, well-fed, and never without a drink! The location is also great, it was easy for everyone to get to and for everyone to go home from (so close to Grand Central and the 6 train!) One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, such a cozy atmosphere and incredible staff members. Classic Irish pub food, which everybody loved! The classics are classics for a reason, and they were very well done. I’ve also had dinner here on a regular night, and it’s just as good! Great pub fare, generous portions, and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s not just a perfect event spot, it’s a great place for an everyday meal too. I am so grateful to Wolfe Tone's for being a great, reasonably priced, delicious, comfy and cozy place to celebrate post-race. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to host any kind of event. “Stumbled upon this Thai restaurant, and was very pleased with the food and experience. The Khao soi chicken was cooked very tender and fell off the bone. Pad Kra Pow pork dish was also really satisfying. The food was spicy, but the flavour worked well to make you want more. Highly recommended!“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

The shining star of the evening was the Happiest Meal deal…. Do not skip the burger! It is so delicious. We tasted a variety of aeperol spritz’s which were all tasty but my favorite was the classic. Our server Ike was super attentive and friendly, gave us helpful recommendations and playful banter, such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour (and the burgers). You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! Just when we thought the night couldn't get any better, Mr. Chazz Palminteri himself stopped by. He was incredibly gracious, took the time to say hello and take a picture with us, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It was the perfect finishing touch to a truly memorable evening. The food and drinks were absolutely on point, but it was the genuine warmth and hospitality of Albert, and the entire staff, that made this such a special experience. “They just revamped their menu and I’m all here for it! My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

“I came for my birthday on Monday and had a fabulous time. At the bar, the setting and ambiance was beautiful, service was attentive and friendly, and even gave us a birthday drink on our way out. The food was delicious and would have ordered more if I didn't have dinner right after. Absolutely beautiful during sunset out on the rooftop, but if you can't beat the heat, inside is just as stunning. Definitely want to come back and spend more time there. One major thing of note is that it was incredibly difficult to edit my reservation. I accidentally made it for the wrong time, totally my fault, when I went to change it on OP, I was given a message that I had to call the restaurant to change the reservation. I called a few times and no one picked up. There's a $25 per person fee for cancellations and no shows that I was not about to eat. It felt like the only way to edit my reservation was to go to the restaurant myself and speak to the hostess since I couldn't get an answer on the phone. Finally had the idea to call the concierge in the hotel the restaurant is apart of, after several minutes of being held on hold, I was able to change my reservation to avoid the fee. As a host of a pretty busy midtown restaurant I was surprised by how difficult it was to get a hold of someone, especially because I'm glued to the phone while I'm at work. Once I did, they were polite and helpful. Just don't make the same mistake I did and double check your reservation before confirming your booking!“
