“I’ve been coming here for 4+ years and it’s absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best cocktails in the city by far. I always go for Ego Trippin but I’ve tasted the others and they all have their thing and it works, names are also very fun.“

“What an absolute gem this place is! It’s just two blocks from Gantry Plaza Park, and the 7 train is right outside. My wife and I were here on a Saturday night, and there was live jazz; it’s a cozy, classy vibe. The staff were friendly and took such good care of us. We had cocktails, and they were delicious. Wonderful bar! We’ll definitely be coming back soon.“

“This is a nice restaurant that has traditional Hunan, Sichuan, and Chinese American Cuisine. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and very early 1900’s style Chinese restaurant fashion almost like being in San Francisco.. The food is very good. The staff is very nice. The portions are just great. On the more expensive side to bring your credit cards 💳. It’s like taking a history lesson in Chinese food in America. Give this place to try if you’re in the area we will definitely be going back.“

R&B Tuesday was amazing. The music was 5/5, the atmosphere was incredible, and the service was excellent throughout the night.

Highly recommend it! Just make sure to reserve a table as it gets busy and it’s the best way to guarantee entry.

“We went for bottomless brunch and it was great! Food was pretty good, not spectacular but good portions and tasted good. Bottomless mimosas were definitely bottomless. The waitress was attentive and kept our refills coming despite the place getting pretty busy towards the end of our time. Prices weren't bad either.

The ambience is very cool. The music was amazing! Drake, Chris Brown, R&B from the early 2000s, and Latin pop.
We saw they have pretty good happy hour deals so we will definitely be coming back during the week!“

“I've been here a few times. See the same staff every time, and they're great. I got the chirashi once, and now it's all I get. The fish in it is the best I've ever had. Great selection, huge pieces, super fresh, fair price. You won't be disappointed!“

“This is the best cafe I've been to in NYC for fruit matcha lattes. So far I've had the strawberry matcha, and pink peach matcha, and both have been incredible. They use fresh fruit puree so it tastes fresh and unprocessed. I don't like my drinks sweetened at all, and the strawberry matcha was perfect for adding only natural sweetness to the latte.“

“Anable Basin is literally one of my favorite spots in the city, especially during the summer. The views are so pretty, the drinks are good, and the whole vibe is just so fun and relaxed. The staff is also super cool and personable. I love coming here with friends, sitting by the water, and watching the sunset (the best view in New York imo). Definitely a go-to spot for me!“

“I don’t know if there is food here but in general the service is good. I liked that me and my friends were able to get a table easily. Definitely not as crowded as other bars but I don’t always want a crowded spot. I like that the jukebox has a lot of Dominican music which I really like“

“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“

“We returned on a visit to McLoughlins 38 years after it was the initial beacon on my arrival in the USA. From there I linked up with my friends , got a contact for a job , heard about accommodation going for rent and bumped into old friends. It created a network and a safety net for a whole generation of Irish immigrants. John is carrying on the traditional welcome provided by his father and uncle.
