Ladybird Reviews
Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the East Village.
I love the dinner menu at Ladybird (I get the kale Caesar salad and Ghia spritz every time and I love the new tonkatsu sandwich) but I tried their brunch recently and want to go back ASAP. I loved the matcha waffles and grilled cheese but want to try more!! Plus the servers are always incredibly friendly.
Cute, quiet all vegan cocktail bar. Good plates to share amongst 2-3. Kim chi Mac n chee was *chefs kiss*

Ladybird offers a unique dining experience with its Asian vegan cuisine, beautiful decor, and cozy ambiance. The menu options are varied, and the wine selection is delicious. The attentive waitstaff and lively music create a welcoming atmosphere. Standout dishes include the kale salad, oyster mushroom chicken and waffles, and the Bao Trio. The Banh Mi Toast is a modern take on the classic sandwich, while the Kimchi Mac & Cheese comes in a generous portion. The interior is cute and chic, with calming music that adds to the relaxed vibe. Friendly staff and fresh ingredients make it a must-visit spot.
Vegetarians will enjoy the delicious bao buns and the surprising watermelon taco. Standout dishes also include the General Tsaos Cauliflower, Kim Chi Mac and cheese, and the tonkatsu sandwich. The brunch menu features delightful options like the BEC Buns, French Toast, and potatoes, all served with friendly and fast service. The staff, including the server, provide great suggestions and a celebratory experience.
Recently, customers praised the delicious vegan food and gluten-free options, especially the vegan gluten-free French toast at brunch and breakfast potatoes. The place is an elegant, slightly pricey spot with a refined atmosphere, complete with cloth napkins and silverware, and serves creative vegan dishes. One meal that received praise was the tonkatsu sandwich on toasted white bread, described as very delicious.
Additionally, brunch visitors enjoyed the tiramisu French toast with good tiramisu flavor, as well as the classic egg sandwich. The matcha tres leches was highlighted as a favorite, with a special touch like basil syrup that added an exquisite flavor.
